We learned so much about the history of the farm and about cocoa farming itself. The staff was friendly, patient and welcomed questions. We loved the farm tour and the delicious and educational chocolate tasting! We were there over 4 hours but the time flew by! Would def recommend!

Kona Natural Soap is truly more than great soap! Greg, the co-owner/tour guide, provided us with a behind the scenes look at a coffee farm and working soap “factory”. He takes a lot of pride in his property and likes to share his knowledge with visitors. He seems to customize the tours based on his audience. He complimented us by telling us that we had “Midwest Sensibilities”. He was both engaging and funny. If you can’t decide which tour to take while visiting Kona, and there’s a lot, this is the one.

Not what I expected.
This farm was not what I expected. I heard hibiscus and just assumed but greenhouse full of large flowy flowers! We got an in-depth tour and experience with edible hibiscus! Completely different type of flowers! Sarah spoke in length about the history of her farm and the broader history about the farming of that area of the big island. Most of the tour was inside the greenhouse in comfortable chairs. Towards the end we got to try her hibiscus products in multiple different ways. They were all unique and delicious.

Fantastic experience! I went with my grandson for his first excursion of third grade. He’s home schooled, and we are locals. So we are fussy about tour experiences. This was a very welcoming atmosphere. Our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. The tastings were very flavorful. Our group had several families with a variety of ages, and everyone was accommodated for levels of curiosity.

Great, informative, and fun experience exploring a patch of jungle that Jason and Nicki turned into their home. Amazing diversity, great hosting, and really an eye-opening look at living off the grid in Hawaii. We enjoyed the banana leaf tea, the apple banana cultivation, the stories of the struggles and experiences of making jungle into a home. Plus, an adorable pet chicken that followed us around. Fun, amazing experience great for anyone!

We took our family and kids on the night UFO tour on the Big Island, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged the entire time, sharing fascinating insights that blew us all away. The kids had an absolute blast looking up at the sky, and the whole experience was both exciting and educational. It’s definitely something we would highly recommend to friends, and we would absolutely do it again. If you're on the Big Island, don't miss this unique night tour!
