Magical and exhilarating! We rebooked after water conditions canceled our earlier trip; water still had some rough chop so I definitely advise Dramamine or something similar beforehand if sea or motion sickness is a concern. Despite the conditions, Captain Bryce and crew Ryan and Noah not only commanded the ship with ease but also helped convince my nervous partner to swim out (after my attempts failed!) The mantas were beautiful and enchanting, and I only wish I could’ve stayed in the water longer.

After doing alot of research, I decided to go with this company and could not be happier with that decision. Aiden was an excellent captain, has a great sense of humor and made the process seamless. We did the 7:30 pm snorkel and saw atleast 12+ manta rays. They would consistently come up and rub up on us ( of course we would not touch back), but truly an incredible experience. If there is anything you do on the big island- spend an hour underwater with these majestic creatures. I don’t think a minute went by without seeing a manta under us. Overall- worth every penny.

The crew and boat where great. Just be mindful if you get motion sick easily. There were several people, including myself, that "feed the fish". We did see beautiful fish, 6 rays and 2 reef sharks.

What an awesome experience! We loved all three of the tour guides. The captain gave us lots of information about the mantas and where we were going, and everyone made us feel so comfortable! We saw one manta Ray (but he/she looped back several times! We also saw several reef sharks and a bu ch of what I believe were little tuna! We stayed a little over 45 min in the water! I loved this whole experience!!!

Absolutely epic experiance. Great captain and crew. I always felt safe. We had 4 female Mantas and some sharks show up. Amazing. Would be nice if someone gave us info on the Mantas and if long poled cameras were banned to improve others experiance though.

This was the most magical experience for our family. If you have the chance to do this, book it!!The crew from Hang Loose was THE BEST. The boat ride at night was beautiful, they shared a ton of interesting information about the Mantas and helped ease any nervousness our kiddos had getting into the water. They even went above and beyond by finding an item our son left on the boat and shipping it all the way back to us in Colorado 😭
