“Kona Chris” is the man!
The 11 hr tour did not feel long at all because we had the best tour guide, “Kona Chris”!! We were picked up from the Hilton on Kona side and the first stop was Kona coffee tour. We tasted different roasts and were introduced to apple banana and the best banana bread. Chris is very knowledgeable with the history of the island. We had timed restroom stops along the way. The company and Chris effortlessly adjusted our lunch stop to a winery due to recent hurricane damages in the southern tip of the island. It was quite a treat- an impromptu small sample tasting and ended up buying a bottle of their Syrah with grapes from the vineyard Apparently, there are 2 wineries on the island. The weather was not cooperating and we did not get to see the volcanic crater (cannot fight Mother Nature). The stops were timed perfectly and we did not feel rushed at all. Highly recommend!!

The tour was outstanding! Our tour guide Anthony was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the culture and history of the island. Very engaging and informative. Very upbeat, positive, accommodating and fun. The overall timing of the stops were adequate. We didn’t feel rushed and the lunch was fantastic local fare at a local restaurant. Overall it was one of the better tours in my travels. Anthony went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

We learned so much about the history of the farm and about cocoa farming itself. The staff was friendly, patient and welcomed questions. We loved the farm tour and the delicious and educational chocolate tasting! We were there over 4 hours but the time flew by! Would def recommend!

Bryce was an amazing guide and definitely helped make this tour fun and memorable! The grounds are beautiful and all of the staff were very welcoming. There were plenty of coffee samples upon arrival as well as some chocolate samples. We enjoyed learning about Kona coffee and would recommend this tour to others!

Very Good experience!
We spent longer time than expected to see the sunset and the stars. My tour guide John was very nice, kind, and knowledgable. He had warm clothes and a lot of snacks prepared for everyone. He also helped us take some photos. Overall I got a really great tour and I would really recommend you to book it.

This experience ended up being one of the highlights of a very fun and beautiful trip to Hawaii. The guides were incredible. None of us wanted the tour to end. I want to frequently order things from this business to keep their mission going and help support the education and advocacy they are involved in.
