We are a family ranging from 4 to 73 y/o. We enjoyed the boat ride although sitting for awhile in a bumpy ride is not so comfortable still we had fun. Captain and crew were very friendly and informative. We saw a lot if dolphins and fishes while snorkeling at captain cook. We wish we even had more time snorkeling. My niece 6 y/o and nephew 4 y/o was their first time snorkeling and they were experts right away. I was kinda scared for them going into the water but they actually had the most fun. There was enough lunch and snacks and drinks for our family. We even brought home the leftovers. It’s also easy to find the location and once you book, you just show up and they were really nice. They even gave us sun screen to use. Also everything is provided for the snorkeling.

This was amazing in every way. We come to the Big Island every summer from New York. We cannot wait to get out on the water. Joe was hilarious and a wealth of knowledge Ko was a master captain and took us to two amazing places to explore the water. We were amazed how we saw baby reef sharks in a cave. They were both so great to my daughter and husband but extra special to my grandchildren who are almost 5 and almost 3.

We had an amazing experience with Big Island VIP on a single-day inter-island trip to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Our private guide, Rob, was knowledgeable, fun, and made the day incredibly engaging—especially for our 13-year-old.The tour was fully customized for our family and included exploring lava fields, learning about the volcanoes, and even watching a volcano documentary on the van’s video screen between stops. Water and snacks were provided, which was a great touch.We missed the most recent eruption by less than 24 hours (sigh!) but Rob sent photos and videos of it to us which was super nice!A fantastic, educational experience and a highlight of our trip. There were 8 of us on a family trip to hawaii and we had the most amazing day with Morgan as our driver/tour guide. He was so fun, knowledgeable about the island, and the best photographer. We saw so many amazing sights and he was fully prepared with all of the things we needed for our beach time. The van was so comfy and the day flew by (in the best way) ! Highlight of our trip in Hawaii. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see all the cool things Hilo has to offer.

We went early in the morning & Captain Cook Cove was quiet. The snorkeling was unbelievable. This one a great adventure & so much fun. We had a great trip learning all about big island and the Hawaiian culture. The bakery was a hit as well as all the other stops along the way. We didn’t get to see and real volcano action aside from smoke but it still a thrill to see.
