Kona wonderful tour day
We had a great day with our tour guide and driver Jess. She shared so much interesting information. I learnt about the growing and production of coffee at Greenwell Coffee farm. Loved all the free coffee samples. The Painted Church was beautiful inside and the gardens lovely. Jess knew so much about Hawaiin plants we saw throughout the whole tour. The lunch spot was delicious local Hawaiin food. Lastly the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park and the beach where we saw the turtles. It was special to see them swimming in the shallow water just off the beach. Jess was very friendly and ensured we got to see everything in good time.

Best tour for a family who needs flexibility!
Rebecca was amazing! Kind, flexible, and accommodating to any group or limitations you have! She called within minutes of me booking just to go over every detail and reassure me of the itinerary and that she was able to pick me up from our hotel even though the website said it was out of policy. She accommodated a family or two elderly grandparents and a 2 yr old toddler. We were changing our pickup time and whether we wanted to do a day or night tour all the way up until the night before and she was so accomodating and doing research to give us minute by minute suggestions. I will totally book with her again the next time I come back!

Inter Island travel was nbd, make the trip and see the volcano!
Mel was great, provided lots of great information and a dash of humor. The van was perfect, modern with charging capabilities for electronics and very comfortable. We made numerous stops as we made our way to the volcano, all important to understanding the islands characteristics. Our day gave us a small glimpse of lava, no fountains but enough to scratch the itch to see. I did one day travel from Oahu, even with flight issues (a cancellation and maintenance problems) the tour group kept things on track and low stress. Really enjoyed the trip, and highly recommend.

My first trip to the Big Island of Hawaii included two days of golf, one day touring the island around Kona, and one day dedicated to a sunset tour of Mauna Kea. 4,200m, higher than the summit of Mt. Fuji. Without any signs of altitude sickness, which I was a little worried about, I was mesmerized by the sight of the stars from the highest point of my life, forgetting the cold.

We booked a trip around the island for Sept 8. through Cool Hawaii/Cool Hawaii with only 24 hours notice. We received a call 1 hour prior to departure from the operating company KapohoKine Adventures. It seems there was an error in the reservation.The disappointment was short lived as KapohoKine Adventures stepped up and sent guide MAC HUGHES in a van and we were on our way.We were thrilled with his knowledge of the island, its history, native plants and animals. We will return and book with KapohaKine Adventures again!!

Andrew was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, a fantastic guide/storyteller, and made us all feel safe. He is great at what he does! Seeing all the scenic parts while hearing about hawaiian history, the caves, the stars! Everything was so worth seeing. Doesn't even feel like hours had passed. Plus the hot chocolate at the end 👌 🍫.
