Awesome day with RJ and his crew on Bite Me 6 on a shared 4 hr trip. Brought in a yellow tail tuna. After getting back to the harbor they carved it up and sent everyone home with instructions to make sashimi or grill. Would def do again.

Had a great day out on the water with Captain RJ, Cam, and the rest of our group. It was a little rough out there due to the recent storms, but felt well taken care of. Managed to hook into a nice yellowfin tuna, which was harvested and shared with everyone. Remember folks, it’s called fishing, not catching!

Our family of four had our first helicopter sight seeing tour with them. The pilot was an expert and made the ride as smooth and easy as possible. We had breathtaking views of cliff, valleys, coastline and tall waterfalls which are not accessible by road. It was a really memorable experience. We will be back for more.

The surrounding natural beauty, the zipping locations over waterfalls, the fun, safety consciousness staff, and the family friendly environment all contributed to this amazing experience. We had 3 first-timers in our group, including a 71-year old grandma, We came to the Big Island to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! This was one of the highlights of our trip!

We had a fantastic time on this half-day fishing trip. The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, making for a very enjoyable experience on the water.The captain and crew were outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They took the time to explain what was happening, answer questions, and make sure everyone was having a great experience.The fishing itself exceeded our expectations. We successfully caught a striped marlin and also hooked into a very large blue marlin. Although the blue marlin eventually threw the hook and got away, the fight was an incredible experience and one we’ll be talking about for a long time.Overall, this was a memorable adventure, and we would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun and exciting fishing experience. Mahalo to the captain and crew for a great day on the water!

I took my son out for a trip, and it turned into one of those memories we’ll both keep forever.From the moment we stepped on board, the crew made us feel welcome and taken care of. The boat itself is one of the best I’ve ever been on—clean, comfortable, and equipped with air-conditioning, which makes a huge difference out on the water.What really sets this experience apart, though, is the crew—especially Bo. He is hands down one of the best fishermen I’ve ever met. His knowledge, skill, and passion for what he does are on another level, and he made the entire trip both exciting and successful.If you’re looking for a first-class fishing experience in Kona, this is it. Our 6-hour charter with Ocean Kona Blue Boat Tours was the highlight of our Hawaii trip! Captain Kevin and Maddie were incredible—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, especially when one of our boys got a little seasick. Every one of us caught fish, the snorkeling was fantastic, and Maddie even found beautiful shells for the kids to take home. Lunch was delicious, and we got to watch a pod of dolphins while we ate-so cool! Kevin was upfront about the rougher seas that morning and offered to refund the trip if we weren't comfortable sailing, but he made the entire experience safe and memorable. They truly treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our time in Kona and on Maui. Our four boys are still talking about it!

Great time! Worth the money and time. Great way to have an "adventure" and see beautiful countryside. The guides, Decker and Dane, were excellent! Felt very safe. Learned about local land and things important to Hawaii. Lots of laughter. Highly recommend!
