Lauren was the absolute BEST tour guide we could have asked for! From the moment we met her, she was incredibly personable, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease. She kept us engaged, entertained, and laughing throughout the entire experience.Lauren is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history, along with fun stories and little details that made the tour even more memorable. My husband tends to avoid tours because he’s what I lovingly call a “Lone Ranger,” so I was especially impressed by how much he enjoyed the experience. I cannot begin to say how fantastic this experience was with HikeMaui, and more specifically how fantastic Momo was as a guide. There wasn’t a moment that our group wasn’t learning about some flowers, the trees, the water, or the culture. The knowledge that she shared with us about every piece of the island was beyond impressive, it truly felt as if she had an answer to any question that could have been thrown at her. And more so, her genuine kindness that she possesses is out of this world. From jumping straight into the water to retrieve a lost phone the moment she was aware of it, to holding a young girls hand almost the whole trek, to extending a hand and a good tip or trick to everyone at every difficult crossing or climb, the stellar human that she is just truly couldn’t be ignored. If there was anyone who could bring the mana out of Hawaii and truly solidify my groups love and respect for Maui, it was absolutely her. Thank you Momo for being such a lasting part of our time on your beautiful island. 12/10 will recommend this hike to anyone I know coming your way.

A sunset hike with a llama? Yes please! This was so much fun! The llamas were awesome as was our tour guide Christine. We each got our own llama, mine was Sina and my husband’s was Killian. They were very well trained and we learned a lot about llamas during our walk. It was completely foggy, so no sunset views but we had llamas! The llamas were the highlight. Christina was an excellent guide. Very friendly and great to talk to!Highly recommend this tour!
