Travel in Maui’s first true open-air safari van through lush rainforest, waterfalls, and iconic stops including the Rainbow Eucalyptus at Ke‘anae Arboretum, the lava coastline of Ke‘anae Peninsula, fresh banana bread, Wailua Valley Lookout, and Pua‘a Kaa Falls. The Road to Hāna is a true rainforest—many days are sunny, but occasional rain is part of what keeps everything so green and makes the waterfalls spectacular. Ponchos are provided so you’re comfortable if the weather changes. With frequent scenic stops, fewer crowds, and nonstop open-air views, this real-life jungle adventure delivers the highlights of the Road to Hāna without the exhausting all-day drive.

Meeting Point - 9:45am - Meet at Whole Foods Kahului - Please meet the Adventure Van promptly at 9:45 AM in the Whole Foods parking lot, located at 70 E Kaahumanu Ave, Kahului, HI 96732. The van will be waiting in the street side of the parking lot when facing the front entrance of Whole Foods.

- Pick-Up -9:45am - We pick you up at Whole Foods Kahului (Across from Cruise Ship Terminal)- Please meet the Adventure Van promptly at 9:45 AM in the Whole Foods parking lot, located at 70 E Kaahumanu Ave, Kahului, HI 96732. The van will be waiting in the street side of the parking lot when facing the front entrance of Whole Foods.
- - **MINIMUM AGE IS 5 YEARS OLD**Minimum age is 5 years old and must be in a booster seat unless they are at least 4 feet 9 inches tall. Our tours are immersive, narrated experiences that require guests to remain seated and respectful of the shared environment. Children must be comfortable sitting for the duration of the tour and able to follow parent guidance.
- - **SPACE IS LIMITED** - Please try and keep all belonging in a small bag that can fit under your seat. This includes all food, drinks and any change of clothes or towels.
- - **Sweater or Jacket** - Sometimes it gets chilly depending on the day, especially in the open air at higher speeds. Even though we are in the tropics, some people get chilly so bringing a sweatshirt or jacket may make the ride more comfortable.
- - **Bug Spray** - There is a chance you may encounter mosquitoes in some areas we visit.
- - **Swimsuit & Towel** - If you plan on entering the water, please bring a towel and swimsuit.
- - **Watershoes or Walking Shoes* - We will be doing some short walks and visiting waterfalls. Proper shoes or Watershoes could make entering the water easier.
- **Drinks:** - You can bring drinks but they must be in spill proof container. We are meeting at Safeway and has a large variety of drinks.
- **Lunch** - We do not provide lunch but we will be stopping at roadside stands for food and snacks but feel free to bring your own.
- - **Sunglasses** - Please bring sunglasses. The ride will be more enjoyable with sunglasses as it get windy at times.
- - **Bring Cash** - Many local vendors only accept cash.
