We had a great experience jet skiing in Maui! The meet-up location was easy to find, and they took us out to the jet ski area where we got a quick rundown before heading out. The jet skis were easy to operate, comfortable to ride and so much fun.The absolute highlight was completely unexpected—a pod of dolphins came swimming through! We were able to just stop and watch as they swam and jumped right around us. It was incredible and one of those moments you couldn’t have planned if you tried.So much fun and a great way to spend a morning in Maui. The dolphins made an already great experience absolutely unforgettable!

Picked up our bikes right around the corner from our Airbnb at 11:00 AM and spent the entire day exploring on e-bikes. The self-guided map was super easy to follow, and we managed to hit all the “hot spots” on West Maui in one afternoon.We took the lower road to Napili Bay, stopped at the Sea House for a snack, and soaked in the incredible ocean views. From there, we continued to Kapalua, parked the bikes, and walked the trail to Dragon’s Teeth—an absolute must-see! The jagged volcanic formations and crashing waves make it feel like you’re standing on another planet.Next, we followed the paved trail through the Ritz-Carlton down to the Burger Shack, where we enjoyed (what else?) delicious burgers. Don’t be surprised by the wild roosters and cats wandering around—it’s part of the charm here.After lunch, we relaxed on the beach for a swim and quick siesta before heading back up Office Road into the hills and rainforest. The paved trails offered stunning island and ocean views all along the way.Our return down Highway 30 was smooth and scenic with dedicated bike lanes and an easy downhill glide.All in all: great time, great bikes, great views, and a great local business. Not a tour, just a kayak rental (what we were looking for)
This is one of several kayak rentals/tours that operates out of Makena. There is Makena Landing Park, then down the road a bit there are a bunch of places on the edge of the road where trucks with kayak carriers can park on the side of the road. This company tends to park at the intersection of Honoiki and Makena Rd. They launch from near there, not over at the park. They do two hour rentals of very stable kayaks with a clear bottom. They give you a quick rundown of how to use them, local rules, and then let you go. You have about a mile of free-range, and this is right next to Maui's "Turtle Town". The kayaks are nice, and unsinkable. No problems with stability. Clarity of the glass bottom is better with a little water in the boat, but it's very hard to balance the boat well enough for both passengers to have a reasonable amount of water on the bottom. Not a deal-breaker or anything, but it can detract from the experience a bit. The idea of the glass bottomed boat is good, but the magnifying effect gives you a pretty narrow field of view, so it can be challenging to see much. Convinced me that maybe snorkeling is worth a try. Anyway, with a little practice we did manage to see some nice fish in the reefs, and did spot one turtle hiding out half under a rock. It was a fun experience overall, and nothing to complain about with the vendor. Make sure you sunscreen well!

Wow! What an amazing place to visit, especially with Ryan as our guide. His passion and in-depth knowledge was mind blowing. He really enjoys what he does and it shows. There were so many beautiful plants, everything from bananas, pineapples, guavas, Romains, basil, bok choy, you name it, they have it. The hydroponics they're doing there is simply incredible. We did get to see the Mac nut trees at the end, but not the bees. It didn't hurt the your, but the name should be more reflective. Something like 'Organic Sustainable Farming of Maui's finest fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc'. Highly recommend!

This experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We learned so much about native plants, gardening, preservation, history, and so much more. Even got a chance to try some incredibly tasting fruits and vegetables. Their method of sustainable farming is amazing, inspirational, and commendable. And the farm to table lunch at the conclusion of the tour was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the fried rice with kalua pork. And be sure to buy their macadamia nuts. They are the best I have ever tasted. So creamy!! This was positively an enriching and memorable experience.
