We enjoyed our excursion to the ocean center. Our guide gave us a brief tour of the center highlights permitting us to return to areas that interested us most. Enjoyed seeing the live coral feeding under the microscope. Artists are scattered throughout the center showing their handicraft of wood carvings, paintings, and other local art. The aquariums are well maintained - some with live coral. Local fish and sea life are highlighted. Delightful restaurant located onsite.

We enjoyed our time at Maui’s Ocean Center. Although we’ve been to Maui several times, it was our first time visiting the center. It was quite a windy day and we were glad we were able to spend time in this place. We enjoyed all the different areas but the whale sphere was just fabulous. We would recommend that anyone coming to Maui spend a little time exploring the center!

Going to the store is one thing but seeing the process is another thing entirely! The owners are knowledgeable and you can see the care they take with the land, the animals and the final products. As a chef who sources from Simple Roots regularly, getting to actually walk the pastures where our chicken and eggs come from was special!! The Simple Roots team is passionate, hard working and always excited to share their farm. Beautiful property, great farm store at the end. We loved the up close experience with all the animals. I think this would be great for kids, true farm experience. The views are remarkable, and the animals are so cute! This tour was awesome. Our tour guide was friendly and gave our group a lot of interesting information about the plants on the farm and the alpacas were adorable. We were supplied with plenty of papaya to feed them. At the end of the tour we were given refreshing dragonfruit lemonade. There was also a gift shop with souvenirs as food and drinks such as various fruit jams and teas. I highly recommend booking this tour!
