No better way to see Hilo!
This was the perfect way to experience Hilo! We were picked up right at the port. The van took us to 7 different sites around the area, among them the black sand beaches, Rainbow Falls, Mauna Loa macadamia nut farm and our favorite, Volcanoes National Park. We were so fortunate! Along the route, we found out that Kilauea was erupting and we would be able to view it. Maggie, our guide, adjusted the route just a little bit, so we got great views of the volcano from three different locations. Maggie was such an enthusiastic, intelligent and informative tour guide. Everyone just loved her! Take this tour! There is no better way to see Hilo!

We visited many parts of Hilo and the national park during the well-organized trip.Chris was a friendly and informative tour driver.We rode in a minibus, not a large motor coach. The Volcano Park is a great place to visit and learn about the volcanic history on the Big Island. You also see a lot more of the island than you might otherwise. Our tour guide, Jenny, was very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. It's a long day but worth it! The live jazz at the Punalu'u was a nice surprise. Food was great!
