We visited many parts of Hilo and the national park during the well-organized trip.Chris was a friendly and informative tour driver.We rode in a minibus, not a large motor coach. Rae was an excellent host for our 5 hour plus tour of the island. He was prompt, courteous and professional, as well as engaging and accommodating. We rode in an almost-new van, which was very comfortable, and Rae offered us drinks and snacks throughout the day. The price for the two of us was extremely reasonable. He made our trip to the island memorable and had us wanting to start asking about real-estate prices! By the time we were done, we began to feel like close friends. We would definitely go on an excursion again with him, if we ever revisit his enchanted isle.

The e-bikes made the terrain accessible and fun, and Jade's attentiveness to our group meant we felt safe and supported the entire time. What really stood out was how much she clearly cares about sharing the magic of the park with visitors. We had such a wonderful time pedaling through lava fields and native forests with her guidance.
