Great way to experience Hilo

We had a great experience from beginning to end. Steve was very responsive and helpful. Our tour guide Amanda was very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoy learning about the culture. We were provided with a great meal, wich provided sample of local food. This was a nice unexpected touch. Overall, I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend touring with Aloha Aina.

Took the waterfalls and volcano tour. Absolutely wonderful. A small family owned and operated business, with tons of local knowledge and advice on things to do. After a day with them I didn't feel like a customer, I felt like family. Highly recommend for anybody wanting to see the beauty of Hawaii and learn cool history.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. My kids loved the boat ride and snorkeling at Captain Cook bay. The captain was great. He told us a lot of history about the island and showed some caves and rock formations. It was truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommend it.

Aaron is the MAN! Amazing tour and day with him. he has a NEW passenger van and takes you to all the BEST places in Hilo. Need to stop at Longs...no problem...want the best poke on the island...he takes you there also. Much better deal than NCL tours which are cattle drives, this is a personal GREAT trip. Great Day

I took the Hilo Finest Waterfalls and Town tour with Hannah Kealoha Adventures while our ship, the Celebrity Solstice was in Hilo for the day, and I enjoyed it very much. It turned out I was the only one on the tour, so it was very personalized. We saw most of the places on the itinerary, and it was especially nice, since I was alone, that the places were completely uncrowded. The Farmers Market is very small during the week, and we did not go to the candy store. I needed some things that I did not want to buy on the ship, so the guides were flexible enough to take me to the local Target, where I was able to pick those things up. It was a very pleasant day and a low-key excursion. It was like touring the area with friends.

Aaron is simply the best! We had the most unbelievable day with him. He was easy to communicate with and easy to work with. He picked us up promptly and took us to the volcano first where it was erupting. It ended up raining down lava rocks and we were the only people with large umbrellas. Aaron was prepared for any and everything! His excitement and enthusiasm made an unbelievable day even better! And he’s so knowledgeable!! I couldn’t recommend him more and would definitely book another tour with him when we come back to The Big Island. Thank you Aaron!!!

Best guide on the island!

We booked this tour last minute to get help seeing and getting access to the waterfalls we wanted to see. From the outset Shawn was superbly professional. He delivered on his promises of clear communication and tailoring the day to include what we wanted. The private waterfall and rappelling were amazing and see all the other waterfalls on the east and north side of the island were breathtaking. The farm tour and cooking class were….interesting. See the potential there but the folks running that (not related Shawn or his company and to his credit he agreed with our assessment) need some more professional organization.Eric and Cora were great and felt completely safe rappellingPickup and drop off at our condo were seamless. When Shawn learned we had been at Volcanoes National Park the day before he happily filled in with extra information we had missed out on and answered our questions as we drove from Waikoloa to Hilo. His knowledge of the geology, history and culture of the island and Hawai’i are superb. And on the drive home we talked restaurant recommendations rations and they were all spot on. His talent for subtly figuring out what clients are asking for and then delivering exactly the experience they want makes home the best. We had a great day.Mahalo nui Shawn!!

Unbelievably fantastic

Absolutely fantastic I would recommend this tour to anybody I didn't actually book the tour myself a concierge at the hotel did so I did not realize we were going to Fisher 8 if you want to see something out of this world go on this tour the tour guide Amanda was amazingly fantastic snacks the food the drink very very adequate what you needed the knowledge that Amanda new about the island and everything else happening unbelievable the tour itself for fissure 8 the gentleman that owned the property Chris wow he is so passionate in what he does what he wants to say we get top of fiissure 8 and the distruction that happened we feel humble very humble of what has gone so if you want a tour this tour this is the one.

Justin and the Big Island made our day!

Justin was amazing. He shared a ton of information on the island as we drove around. He took us to all kinds of places to experience the Big Island. It was all very thought out. We got to see a chocolate factory, turtles, the lava fields and volcanoes, black sand beaches - everything we wanted to see. He was such a great tour guide!
