We are a family ranging from 4 to 73 y/o. We enjoyed the boat ride although sitting for awhile in a bumpy ride is not so comfortable still we had fun. Captain and crew were very friendly and informative. We saw a lot if dolphins and fishes while snorkeling at captain cook. We wish we even had more time snorkeling. My niece 6 y/o and nephew 4 y/o was their first time snorkeling and they were experts right away. I was kinda scared for them going into the water but they actually had the most fun. There was enough lunch and snacks and drinks for our family. We even brought home the leftovers. It’s also easy to find the location and once you book, you just show up and they were really nice. They even gave us sun screen to use. Also everything is provided for the snorkeling.

I can’t say enough good things about this tour! It was amazing and Igor was just wonderful. We have teenagers and they can be difficult to please at times. Igor was kind patient but more importantly took us to all these wonderful places around the Island. It’s a long day of traveling around the island but it’s well worth it. There are plenty of food stops along the way so don’t worry about that. Bring layers because climate changes rapidly. My girls loved Igor and we loved that he shared his favorite spots with us! Thank you for a memorable day!

Our family of four had our first helicopter sight seeing tour with them. The pilot was an expert and made the ride as smooth and easy as possible. We had breathtaking views of cliff, valleys, coastline and tall waterfalls which are not accessible by road. It was a really memorable experience. We will be back for more.

Over all great experience! Highly recommend!! The boat was super fast!!! Quality equipment!! I’ve always had issues with the mask leaking but NOT on this trip! Was able to enjoy the snorkeling!! Mitch and Riley lead us to spinner dolphins! Will book again next time we are back on the Big Island!

A wonderful charter experience that was easy going and supplied everything we needed so was stress free Led by Captain Mitch and Riley as guide. The 10 person boat was great to avoid crowds and get in and out of site with ease. We had one family member not comfortable with the ocean/snorkleing but the guide and captain made her uncomfortable with the experience she was in the water the entire time! We saw beautiful coral reefs and a multitude of fosh along with spinner dolphins chasing our wake. The captain and guide were top notch and very knowledgeable about the marine life and history of Hawaii. Can’t wait to call them and book next trip to the Big island.

Julie was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the area and the volcano. She recommended the best spots in the park and took us to some quieter areas too away from the crowds. It made for a relaxing, memorable way to experience the best of our visit."

Adam was very knowledgeable. He was flexible and made sure we saw what we wanted. If we had to turn around to see something. He was very accommodating.

This excursion went perfectly from start to finish. Our booking experience with Shawn was very smooth and our day out with Lisa was a heap of fun. We were picked up at Kona Airport right on time. We had a great day out with personable and knowledgeable Lisa. Lunch was a picnic from the excellent bakery. Our only complaint was that they couldn't time the volcano to go off while we were there. I mean really, what's wrong with you guys?!We would definitely travel with this team again.

Jill was great. She had us laughing from the start. We stopped at Rainbow Falls to start and it was great to learn about the significance of the falls to the community. We then headed up to the Volcano National Park, it was eye opening, we hoped to see the eruption, but only steam. Jill shared a lot of info on the history of eruptions and what it meant/means for the community, great opportunity to learn. We really enjoyed walking in the lava tube. We stopped at a local chocolate store at the end and bought some home. Overall a great way to spend a day in Hilo.Thank you, Michael

Our guide Peter was extremely knowledgeable and experienced and is a member of the Friends of the Volcanoes Park, so the money we paid goes to the benefit of the park. He was very interesting, had lots of great stories, and was fun to be around.

Our guide was Aaron… he was one of the best guides that we’ve ever had! Not only did we take us to the major sites (Kilauea, the Lava Tube and the most recent Lava fields), he took us to a local market, where we bought the best sandwiches… then took us to one of the most memorable spots - with the most memorable views (overlooking lava fields and down the Pacific Coast of the Island) at which to have lunch. It was an incredible vantage point that we will remember forever.We saw the Kilauea caldera, the Volcano House and the Nakuru lava tunnel, PLUS a few other calderas and other spots that larger tour groups will likely never see… where we saw lava fissures, caldera sink holes that don’t make the itineraries of larger tour groups, but have, nonetheless, attracted Stanford geologists!If you want a small group, or private-guide experience, then find Aaron! He is absolutely the best!
