A great experience, the snorkeling was amazing! We saw alot of fish in clear water. The private charter experience was incredible Kelau the captain was very informative, knowledgeable and a gentleman, made my wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters completely comfortable. We were vacationing with our 3 generation family and did this tour with Mac as our guide. He did an excellent job relating to all of us and was able to keep the youngest involved and listening. I would gladly book another tour with Mac. We were even able to cap off a great day with a beautiful sunset on the way home.

This was such a great tour with loads of info and personal touches from Kaleo. It was nice to be with a smaller group on a locals boat getting the hometown knowledge and history! When we spotted a pod of dolphins he was happy to facilitate us hanging out as long as we wanted. Skip the big boat tour with 80 tourists - get out on Kaleo’s boat and have an epic few hours on the water in Kona.

We had a great time hiking with our guide Ryan. He’s very knowledgeable and entertaining. The hike was just as described. You can do this hike on your own but it will not be the same experience. We learned so much about the geology and legends as well as the plants. I know if we didn’t book this tour we would have missed so much. Worth every penny! Would highly recommend hiking with Ryan.

Thankfully for whatever reason we were drawn to this business as soon as we got off the cruise. The guide walked us to an open vehicle that took minutes driving us to the office so we could pay for our tour. Another Thankful moment they had two tickets left to do exactly what I had in mind for the day!!! So the earlier you can get here the better chance you have especially if you want to tour the volcano & waterfall. Daniel was a great tour guide, lots of kindness, down to earth & family oriented! He had his tour mapped out so his group could sightsee the main attractions of Hilo. Lots of insight given about Hilo with Daniel leading the way. I could not have asked for a more perfect day than we had despite not knowing how I was gonna get around to things I read about. It helped our group was on time from sightseeing each time dropped off. The traffic picked up as the day went on but Daniel got us back to the cruise ahead of schedule for departure

We booked this tour last minute to get help seeing and getting access to the waterfalls we wanted to see. From the outset Shawn was superbly professional. He delivered on his promises of clear communication and tailoring the day to include what we wanted. The private waterfall and rappelling were amazing and see all the other waterfalls on the east and north side of the island were breathtaking. The farm tour and cooking class were….interesting. See the potential there but the folks running that (not related Shawn or his company and to his credit he agreed with our assessment) need some more professional organization.Eric and Cora were great and felt completely safe rappellingPickup and drop off at our condo were seamless. When Shawn learned we had been at Volcanoes National Park the day before he happily filled in with extra information we had missed out on and answered our questions as we drove from Waikoloa to Hilo. His knowledge of the geology, history and culture of the island and Hawai’i are superb. And on the drive home we talked restaurant recommendations rations and they were all spot on. His talent for subtly figuring out what clients are asking for and then delivering exactly the experience they want makes home the best. We had a great day.Mahalo nui Shawn!!
