This was an unforgettable experience. I have 5 people i need thank. Deavon was great with the communication of details and follow up to my questions. Ricki was extremely nice and helpful getting me my gear and storing my valuables when I was snorkeling. Kekoa our captain did a great job. Greg all day did an amazing job in the water. Khalayla was instrumental in taking care of my prosthesis and helping me in the boat. Here is the story. We were the last tour of the night. We had two couples joining us for there second time for free because the team wasn't happy with what they were able to see the previous night. All of us got into the water. After about 30 minutes of only seeing one Manta for a very short time we reloaded and we were going back in. Once again the team was not satisfied we got our money's worth so everyone was invited to reschedule for free. As we were leaving there was action from a different group. The Mantas were there. Greg all day asked if we wanted to go back in. That was a no brainer yea we did and we were not disappointed. The pictures you see of the Mantas is what this team was able to provide for me. 5 stars all the way. Thanks you Greg all day and the rest of the crew.

We had such a great experience with Hawaii Island and Adventure Tours! Deavon was our host and honestly could not have been better. He was super responsive, explained everything clearly, and anytime we had a question or issue, he took care of it right away. Communication was great from start to finish.The crew was awesome too. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job explaining everything and making sure everyone was comfortable. One person in our group had a really hard time getting off the boat, and the crew was incredibly patient and helpful, which we really appreciated.We only saw a few mantas on our first trip, but I was really impressed with how the company handled it. They offered us the chance to go again or try their Captain Cook day snorkeling trip instead. We chose the day trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time there. Deavon was our host again, and the crew took us around, showed us different sights, taught us about the area, and gave us some great recommendations.The whole experience felt very personal and well organized. Even though the manta viewing wasn't quite what we hoped for, they really went above and beyond to make sure we still had an amazing experience. I'd absolutely recommend them and would definitely go with them again!

Best excursion ever!
This was the best excursion of the entire trip. We picked this one because it was a small group and locally owned. Dustin and Bobby were excellent. With it being a small group Bobby was able to move us around to where the Manta Rays were. The larger groups that were there only stayed in one spot. The videos that Bobby took were amazing and downloaded to us as soon as we got back at no additional cost! They provided us with snacks and hot chocolate when we were finished. Much appreciated. Anyone visiting the Big Island must do this. It was so great we booked a day snorkel while we were there with the same charter.

Our guide was super knowledgeable and very patient and accommodating to everyone’s needs. We had a great tour, it was the perfect amount of time to really see the forest in all it’s glory! It was a bit pricy but worth it to keep this beautiful place cared for.

What a great experience!! The water was warm, the ocean was fairly calm, and we got to see mantas VERY close up! We also saw a few sharks, which was cool too. Definitely worth the money and the only way I’d get in the ocean at night.

Without a doubt, highly recommended. Everything very well organized and explained. They gave us an upgrade, I imagine due to their logistics. Captain Kai and Ally were super attentive at all times. Very beautiful views and two stops for snorkeling. Duration about 4 hours. We would definitely repeat with them. 100% reliable, booking and payment. Once you make the payment, they send you the email with all the information, meeting place, timings, etc. For those of us who wear prescription glasses and do not use contact lenses, they have also planned for that!! In fact, when I finished, I bought them; they worked great, as they offer several prescriptions. A 10/10 day, thank you very much!!

The boat ride was a little bumpy but really cool! We got real close to the edge of the island in a few different spots. The guides were knowledgeable about the island and the lore but also laid back and chill. We got almost an hour of snorkeling in and our overall group was about 10 people which was nice.

Captain Bee and crew were great. On our way out she spotted some spinner dolphins and stopped to give everyone a chance to see them jumping out of the water. The snorkeling was great. As a bonus a manta ray was spotted on our return. Would recommend SeaQuest again.

Fantastic family friendly adventure!
We did a deluxe snorkel with Dolphin Discoveries and had a blast. The staff were friendly, kind, and super knowledgeable about the area and the marine life. I learned a few new facts about the island too. It felt super safe, since we had our 4 children with us. The crew were watching the guests and kids in the water and giving great instructions. It was fun exploring the underwater world. Can’t wait to get out there with this team for a Manta adventure.
