We were vacationing with our 3 generation family and did this tour with Mac as our guide. He did an excellent job relating to all of us and was able to keep the youngest involved and listening. I would gladly book another tour with Mac. We were even able to cap off a great day with a beautiful sunset on the way home.

My sister and I had an awesome and a once in a lifetime experience seeing the unique green sand beach of Hawaii. We were lucky to be the only two that morning. Our guide Nathan was helpful and informative throughout! We witnessed breathtaking views and had a fun time riding while at it! Highly recommend!

Our family of four had our first helicopter sight seeing tour with them. The pilot was an expert and made the ride as smooth and easy as possible. We had breathtaking views of cliff, valleys, coastline and tall waterfalls which are not accessible by road. It was a really memorable experience. We will be back for more.

Nathan was excellent and made driving. The ATV is very easy. We saw many beautiful sites, including lava tubes, lava field, black sand, beaches and turtles. Green sand was seen on the trails but due to Hawaii Homestead rules. They are no longer allowed to ATV over to Green Sand Beach so that was a little bit upsetting because that’s the reason we picked this tour. Otherwise excellent just don’t use it as unexpected way to see green sand Beach.

Great experience and great guide
We had a great time hiking with our guide Ryan. He’s very knowledgeable and entertaining. The hike was just as described. You can do this hike on your own but it will not be the same experience. We learned so much about the geology and legends as well as the plants. I know if we didn’t book this tour we would have missed so much. Worth every penny! Would highly recommend hiking with Ryan.

This was a fun trip. The crew were really nice and very helpful. We had some mobility accommodations and they were quick to work on a resolution so we all could enjoy the trip. The boat was nice, not over crowded and the equipment was in clean and good condition. They explained things well during the 30 min trip out to the snorkeling grounds. Unfortunately, there were no rays for us to see that night due to little to no plankton in the water. They offered us another chance to go out, but we were already booked up for the rest of the week. Would definitely go with them again.

Our 6-hour charter with Ocean Kona Blue Boat Tours was the highlight of our Hawaii trip! Captain Kevin and Maddie were incredible—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, especially when one of our boys got a little seasick. Every one of us caught fish, the snorkeling was fantastic, and Maddie even found beautiful shells for the kids to take home. Lunch was delicious, and we got to watch a pod of dolphins while we ate-so cool! Kevin was upfront about the rougher seas that morning and offered to refund the trip if we weren't comfortable sailing, but he made the entire experience safe and memorable. They truly treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our time in Kona and on Maui. Our four boys are still talking about it!

Rom from Nomad tours was incredible! So knowledgeable, he shared interesting facts related to the trip during our long drive from Kona. He went above and beyond to make our tour the highlight of the trip. By sheer luck, the volcano was erupting the day we had planned to tour the Volcano National Park but despite our best efforts, the park closed literally as we arrived… Rom was kind enough to schedule another day to take us out and finish the tour. Truly unforgettable and we were so appreciative! Worth every cent, if you are on the fence about whether it’s worth the money, book now!
