Great teacher, really chill guy. He explains very well. The place is also great, very good waves and there’s was only a few people around us.

We had an incredible time with Surf Yoga Maui and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to learn how to surf while having a fun, personalized experience!A huge shoutout to Eddie, my instructor, and Summer, who guided us through the booking process with ease! I came into the lesson with some concerns about surfing, and Eddie immediately made me feel comfortable while still challenging me—which was exactly what I wanted to get out of the experience. He brought a lighthearted, encouraging energy to the lesson, patient and approachable, and stayed right nearby the entire time to make sure I felt safe and supported. He also went above and beyond by offering to help my boyfriend, who had rented gear from Surf Yoga Maui as well for a very fair price. Eddie gave us some great local tips and recommendations for places to explore on the island, which was such a nice bonus!They also had a photographer there, which was a really nice surprise. The photos were such a great way to capture the experience, and appreciated there was no pressure when it came to purchasing them. Big shout out to Sean for capturing our day!A big thank you to Summer as well for making the booking process so easy. She was incredibly attentive and responsive, and even suggested moving my lesson to a different day because the surf conditions were expected to be better. I’m so glad we listened to her recommendation because the conditions ended up being amazing! The team also had surf booties, yoga pants for ladies and rash guards, to make for a warm and enjoyable surfing experience. Small group experience with a lot of wave time. It costs a lot less and the equipment is well used, but works well and you get a lot of wave time and instruction.

Brian, Kain and Gabby were the best instructors. We had a private lesson for our family of 6, including 4 kids under 13. We had so much fun, my kids declared this the best part of the entire trip. We weren’t sure if we would get our lesson in because it was incredibly windy but Brian found us a great spot with calmer waves and everyone was able to get up on the board. I really can’t recommend Soul Surf enough, no regrets!!

Brian and his team were great. We did a large family lesson, and everyone had a blast and was able to get up and surf successfully. It was a highlight of our vacation.

After a great transfer ride, we decided to use Victor again to take us hiking. It was incredible! I would HIGHLY recommend Victor for any tour, but the hiking tour has been the highlight of our trip. He is very knowledgeable about the island. Victor can tell you all the places to eat, drink, and explore. He took us for coffee and treats, three different spots, including hiking and cliff jumping. He was great with our two kids too! He even took pictures and videos for us. If you are looking for any type of tour while in Maui, this is the company to use.

Victor is an awesome guy! We met him through Lyft and he gave us a lot of helpful information about Maui. He connected me with his colleague Mr Ford, let me just say, Mr Ford is the nicest person I have met in Maui. He prioritizes treating every traveler like they are family, and I definitely felt that. He is also very generous and considerate of others. He took amazing care of me and my mom. He took me up to the Nakalele Blow Hole, it was amazing!

An incredible experience! Brian coached my session and he is phenomenal. He taught me the basics quickly and got us out into the surf in no time! Each moment spent was directed at making sure I got the most out of my experience. He is a master of his craft, judging what waves are good, explaining positioning and form on the fly, while also making sure I wasn’t wearing myself out. Brian tailors the lesson to your fitness level flawlessly and keeps the vibe chill and relaxed no matter how big the waves are. Brian’s 30 years of experience is worth every penny and I will recommend this to anyone interested in surfing. 10/10 experience, you won’t find a better instructor. I hope this review helps!

Nia was a great instructor! My 12 year old son and I learned all the basics and felt confident with what we learned to continue practice on our own.

Brian was a great instructor. I booked a lesson as an introduction to surfing in Maui and to give me some pointers on turning. Ukumehame is a stunning place to surf. The surf was a little small for my lesson but that meant there weren’t many people on the waves which was nice. Brian also offered to help me out with a board on another day so I’d have more time on the waves.

Kids had an amazing time. They all were able to stand and surf well before end of session and continues enjoying themselves until they were dog tired at the end of session. Our Instructor was very helpful and also watched out for their safety.It’s highly physical and make sure to bring extra sun protection. Glasses with straps and a UV cap are recommended. My daughter brined her scalp. The location is very rocky in the shallow so difficult to watch them close up. Bring water shoes if you want to go in. Park is nice for a picnic and has restaurants nearby.

Braiden was fantastic. 10/10 experience. Awesome with adults and kids, highly recommend trying surfing with him!!!!

I had my very first surf lesson, and it was incredible! Jesse was an excellent instructor — super patient and extremely clear in his explanations. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to stand up on the board almost immediately. The spot is perfect for beginners, with shallow waters and not too crowded in May. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to catch their first wave!

Dante and his team were exceptional in every way. Safety first, yet successfully coaching to inspire confidence. We had a 6 yo, a 9 yo, and 7 athletic 21-40 yo's. The first or second time surfing for everyone. The coaching was tailored to each person and three additional adults with some surfing experience rented totally acceptable boards to hang out, surf with family, observe their progress, and share in the fun. Everyone had a blast.We live in Hawaii and have a constant stream of family and friends looking to surf for the first time or simply in need of a refresher. The relatively small waves on these beaches are perfect for beginners, yet still big enough to provide great enjoyment to skilled surfers.

We had the best time! My siblings and I had never been surging before and we all got up by the end! Everyone was super friendly and patient. The waves and wind switched it up on us but it kept the experience fun and exciting. Would highly recommend them!!
