Such a beautiful evening. One minute your so disappointed because its cloudy and raining but then as soon as the sun begins to set the most amazing sun set. Being so high and seeing the cloud base below you was a truly magical experience especially for my kiddo, she was almost lost for words. I am so glad I did not do the drive myself. Our driver was informative, fun, and we felt safe with his careful driving up and down the volcano. I see myself as a very respectful tourist and I have to say I am sick to death of picking up rubbish, trash left behind by tourists who just don’t care. My daughter and I have filled two trash bags of rubbish during our trip to Hawaii on beaches, nature reserves, in the sea, and top of this amazing Volcano. It really is not difficult to take your trash to bin.

Super fun and amazing experience. Parking was plentiful at the office and super easy to navigate to. Van ride up the mountains was a little bumpy (ride in the front for less air time!). Everyone was super welcoming and made sure safety was top priority. There's also a bonus small ATV ride to the 2nd zipline. There's also a short bridge we walked on towards the end that provided the most spectacular views of Maui's forest and shoreline. Would definitely recommend this experience and will definitely book it again if back in Maui!

Kristy was our tour guide. She did an excellent job. She made the 10 hour excursion very enjoyable from the music she played in the van to the stories she told. She was a very skillful driver which was very appreciated considering the curving road. No one our van got sick. YEAH! The farm to table lunch was exceptional. The meat fell off the bone and the hibiscus tea was very enjoyable.I know there are cheaper tours out there but I would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour with a fantastic lunch. I’ve drive the Road to Hana once myself but it was absolutely more enjoyable having a skilled guide drive this time. The ride was very smooth in the Mercedes van. The guide was “choke” full of knowledge she shared along the way. The food at both the banana bread stop and lunch was amazing. & you can tell this is a company who wants to provide a great guest experience and treats their guides well.

An awe inspiring experience!
Viewing the sunrise from the top of Haleakala crater above the clouds at 10,000 ft is an indescribable experience! Yes, you have to get up at 2:00 a.m. Yes, it is windy and cold but it is an experience not to be missed! Our guide and driver Brad did a great job of getting us there in plenty of time to view the sunrise as well as providing fleece lined ponchos to improve our comfort. You watch the sky as it transitions from a star filled blackness to a faint gold color appearing on the horizon followed by a brilliant flash of light as the sun rises above the clouds! Two native Hawaiian men loudly chanted a traditional Hawaiian greeting to the Sun as it rose above the horizon which made the experience tremendously moving. Following the sunrise we stayed on the summit and viewed the crater below before proceeding to a very nice prearranged breakfast and then back to our ship. Brad navigated us through the whole experience with humor and professionalism. Don't miss this once in a lifetime experience!!

Our Road to Hana private tour with our guide, Honesty, was amazing!The vehicle was of course top notch, the scenic drive was breathtaking, and Honesty was such a genuine person and guide and taught us a lot throughout the day. She was prepped with ponchos, umbrellas, hand sanitizer, even toilet paper. Her knowledge of local fauna and even grabbing edible flowers for us to try was super fun.The weather was on our side the entire day with few crowds making for quicker stops at popular sites like Sandy's Banana Bread and a near crowd-less waterfall (which we climbed and jumped off of!).The Black Sand Beach might've been our favorite spot and was surreal to see in person.Would highly recommend the splurge and booking fully private, so you aren't subject to waiting for other guests' throughout the day. We were able to tailor exactly how 'adventurous' we wanted to be and where we wanted to eat, see, and do throughout the day.

Fantastic Day with a Local on The Road to Hāna
Rick picked us up at our hotel. He was actually a few minutes early, so very prompt! We had a terrific day. He grew up in Hawaii and was very knowledgeable about the foliage and the sights of interest. The Road to Hana is a difficult drive for those not familiar with it. There are many one lane bridges and 600+ twists and turns. I would highly recommend getting a driver who has done the route many, many times. Rick is a fantastic driver and we felt very safe. The Cadillac Escalade was super comfortable! Rick made a special effort for us to see the Green Sea Turtles on the beach!
