We had Shane as our dive instructor and he did an amazing job. Half of our group took to diving like fish and the other half freaked out were unable to dive for the majority of the time. He remained very calm and was able to monitor both sets of people appropriately. The experience was absolutely amazing and we half of us will definitely be diving again 🤣. 10/10 recommend.

Best way to see Road to Hana with an older couple
This is a wonderful way to get a taste of the natural beauty of Maui, regardless of age! Our guide, Yvonne, was knowledgeable, pleasant, conscientious, and patiently kind with us older folks ( in our 60s and 90s). We saw many hidden gems that would have been missed if we had driven the road ourselves, including hidden waterfalls, rainbow eucalyptus trees, a cacao farm, a delicious ice cream stand, a black sand beach, a red sand beach, and a beach filled with giant sea turtles. What was also impressive was Yvonne’s ability to navigate the narrow roads and single- lane bridges with competent dexterity. All in all, it was a very pleasant and informative day, and we certainly appreciate Maui more now!

She kept us engaged, entertained, and laughing throughout the entire experience.Lauren is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history, along with fun stories and little details that made the tour even more memorable. My husband tends to avoid tours because he’s what I lovingly call a “Lone Ranger,” so I was especially impressed by how much he enjoyed the experience. We had an absolutely incredible experience with Hawaii by Storm, and I cannot recommend our driver, Mark, highly enough. I am a very anxious passenger and, before our Road to Hana tour, I was genuinely worried about the drive. With Mark, I was not scared for even a second. He is an exceptionally skilled driver, knows the road inside and out, and made me feel completely safe and comfortable the entire day. For someone who gets nervous on winding and challenging roads, that alone made the experience priceless. But Mark was so much more than a great driver. He was funny, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. He knew so much about Maui, the Road to Hana, and Hawaiian history and culture, and shared it in such an interesting and entertaining way. We were traveling as a family—my husband and me and our two young adult children—and he related so naturally to every one of us. He was also completely flexible and made the day feel like our tour rather than a set itinerary. We did the Epic Tour, which I highly recommend. Instead of turning around and driving back the same way, we continued around the full loop and got to experience the incredible backside of Maui as well. We are so glad we chose that option. This was a splurge for us, but it was worth every penny. Having Mark drive meant that all four of us could relax, enjoy the scenery and experience the Road to Hana together without anyone having to concentrate on navigating or driving. If you are considering a private Road to Hana tour, book Hawaii by Storm and request Mark. I truly can't say enough good things about him. He made what I had worried might be a stressful day into one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. Thank you, Mark, for an unforgettable day!
