Awesome experience with Mark

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Hawaii by Storm, and I cannot recommend our driver, Mark, highly enough. I am a very anxious passenger and, before our Road to Hana tour, I was genuinely worried about the drive. With Mark, I was not scared for even a second. He is an exceptionally skilled driver, knows the road inside and out, and made me feel completely safe and comfortable the entire day. For someone who gets nervous on winding and challenging roads, that alone made the experience priceless. But Mark was so much more than a great driver. He was funny, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. He knew so much about Maui, the Road to Hana, and Hawaiian history and culture, and shared it in such an interesting and entertaining way. We were traveling as a family—my husband and me and our two young adult children—and he related so naturally to every one of us. He was also completely flexible and made the day feel like our tour rather than a set itinerary. We did the Epic Tour, which I highly recommend. Instead of turning around and driving back the same way, we continued around the full loop and got to experience the incredible backside of Maui as well. We are so glad we chose that option. This was a splurge for us, but it was worth every penny. Having Mark drive meant that all four of us could relax, enjoy the scenery and experience the Road to Hana together without anyone having to concentrate on navigating or driving. If you are considering a private Road to Hana tour, book Hawaii by Storm and request Mark. I truly can't say enough good things about him. He made what I had worried might be a stressful day into one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. Thank you, Mark, for an unforgettable day!

Worth every penny- ask for SPENCER!

We had an incredible experience with Hawaii by Storm’s Half-Day Road to Hana tour. It was the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Road to Hana without committing to an entire day.Our guide, Spencer, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about Maui and its history, culture, and natural beauty. He knew exactly where to stop, kept the day moving at a comfortable pace, and made the entire experience fun for our family. Having Spencer as our guide allowed us to relax and actually enjoy the drive and scenery instead of worrying about navigating the Road to Hana ourselves.The half-day format was also ideal. We saw waterfalls, incredible coastline, lush rainforest, and some truly spectacular scenery while still having plenty of the day left afterward.If you’re considering a Road to Hana tour, I highly recommend Hawaii by Storm, and ask for Spencer if you can. He made an already amazing experience even better.

From the moment we stepped aboard, they were warm, friendly, upbeat, and genuinely excited to make sure we had an incredible experience. They made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip while creating such a fun and relaxing atmosphere.They took us all the way over to Lanai and found crystal-clear water with amazing snorkeling conditions. We swam with sea turtles and saw countless beautiful tropical fish. We also rented two sea scooters, and they were worth every penny! Gliding effortlessly through the water was incredibly relaxing, so much fun, and allowed us to cover much more distance and see even more of the incredible marine life.If you’re looking for the best private or group snorkeling charter, look no further. Unforgettable!

We will never forget our day on the road to Hana with Patricia. We saw some breath taking sites. Patricia knew exactly where to stop and was extremely knowledgeable. We got many beautiful pictures and many cherished memories. Banana bread, coffee, ice cream and huli huli chicken were great! After a long day in the road to Hana we ventured up to the top of Haleakala. We had never seen a sunset as beautiful as that, it was almost spiritual. We spent 12 hours together and Patricia was amazingly patient, knowledgeable and charismatic. This was an amazing day. We highly recommend this tour and our tour guide Patricia.

The road to Hana is not for the faint of heart, and it’s definitely not something that should be attempted by the uninitiated. To attempt this on your own will only sour the experience. Having a professional tour guide behind the wheel allowed my family to get the most out of the experience. Peter was informative, professional and knowledgeable. Great Trip!

We had so much fun on our boat trip with Dan and Marissa! They were so accommodating and took us to swim with dolphins which was a highlight of our trip. They picked us up right on the beach, a walk down from Hyatt where we were staying. Highly recommend!

If you’re going to surf Maui, you should definitely choose Zack Howards surf. Zack’s wife Sarah was our surf instructor. Completely fantastic woman with a lot of patience for us two new surfers. She was so good at telling us what to do and good at finding the right wave. If you could give 6 stars on Cool Hawaii I would have done this.

A Unique and Rewarding Experience

Our guides were super knowledgeable about the area and gave some interesting new perspectives on the island of Maui. It was fun to see how a traditional taro patch works and was rewarding to participate in restoring some of the land. Would recommend to a friend who wants to see below the modern veneer of Hawaii and catch a glimpse of the historical roots and true nature of the land.

Family vacation snorkeling tour

This was an incredible experience! The two man crew was fantastic. We snorkeled the entire Molokini Crater with Esteban as our guide and protector. The captain was great too, keeping an eye out for whales on the way and turtles when we got to the cove for our second snorkeling adventure. There were turtles everywhere around us. Take a go pro ! So worth it! Would definitely hire these guys again.

Wonderful private charter to Molokini

We had an amazing experience with Captain Ryan and Maria! We booked a 3-hour private charter for our family and we enjoyed every minute of it. The boat ride was really fun both ways and Captain Ryan played great music! We went to Molokini and it was phenomenal! We were the only ones there snorkeling in the crystal clear water! My sons got great underwater photos and go-pro footage of so many beautiful fish and creatures including a spotted Eagle ray, eels, parrotfish, porcupine fish and puffer fish. Our group had family members from 12 to 75 years old and Maria and Ryan made sure everyone was geared up correctly, were safe on the boat and in the water and were feeling comfortable and having fun. We took our time and swam the whole crater, then even got a quick look at “the drop off.” It was fantastic snorkeling with Maria because she is a marine biologist! She was so informative and full of interesting information about everything we saw. We got some nice drinks and snacks too. This is a wonderful experience with a fantastic crew!! This is our second private charter with this company and we will definitely book them again!
