Fun Luau Experience
The Wailele Luau was a wonderful experience, including for the small children in our family of eleven. The food was excellent and the children's menu and buffet area were so good and fun for them, with buffet tables just their height. The emcee, Dwayne (sp?), was really good, with great narration delivery and excellent interaction with the audience. Our table hostess, Lorraine, was simply the best and she really enhanced the whole experience for us. This luau also had a nice arrangement with part of the seating area covered in case you wanted to get out of the rain sprinkles.

Captain Nick, Elena and Sophie were an amazing crew and took great care of everyone on the boat, especially boarding and disembarking from the shore. Kept the food and drinks flowing! Amazing sunset and great selection of food, especially for a group of us that had quite a few food allergies, they were able to eat something.

Food was amazing. Staff was totally top notch. Captain doubled as emcee for the trip and was appropriately funny without being crass. Bring a light jacket or sweater for the return to harbor. It got a bit chilly at the hight speed of return in the dark.

Amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. We got lucky and managed to book a time where seemingly no other group did, this meant we effectively got a private tour of their beautiful farm and was even given the opportunity to pick and eat a fresh dragon fruit! To our delight it was actually a rare “strawberry” cross breed (mix of red and white that looks pink inside), it was extremely refreshing and sweet!After looking at all their unique plants and given insightful knowledge on how they are grown, the troubles faced for Hawaii farmers and the way they deal with it, we were then treated to an extremely fresh and sweet tray of fruit that complemented the earthy, sweat and tart teas we had.If you enjoy scenic views, a tea lover or just want to understand local life, this is the experience for you.

***I took the Maui Pineapple Tour: The Planting Experience in September 2026, and it was fantastic! Our guide, Rudy, was excellent. I loved learning about the history of the Maui Gold plantation and tasting fresh pineapple straight from the field. ***A few essential tips: Wear dark-colored tops, long socks, and non-slip rubber-soled shoes—it gets very rainy, windy, and slippery out there, so you will get dirty! Bringing a towel and a wide-brimmed farmer hat is also a must.
