We had an absolutely incredible experience with Hawaii by Storm, and I cannot recommend our driver, Mark, highly enough. I am a very anxious passenger and, before our Road to Hana tour, I was genuinely worried about the drive. With Mark, I was not scared for even a second. He is an exceptionally skilled driver, knows the road inside and out, and made me feel completely safe and comfortable the entire day. For someone who gets nervous on winding and challenging roads, that alone made the experience priceless. But Mark was so much more than a great driver. He was funny, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. He knew so much about Maui, the Road to Hana, and Hawaiian history and culture, and shared it in such an interesting and entertaining way. We were traveling as a family—my husband and me and our two young adult children—and he related so naturally to every one of us. He was also completely flexible and made the day feel like our tour rather than a set itinerary. We did the Epic Tour, which I highly recommend. Instead of turning around and driving back the same way, we continued around the full loop and got to experience the incredible backside of Maui as well. We are so glad we chose that option. This was a splurge for us, but it was worth every penny. Having Mark drive meant that all four of us could relax, enjoy the scenery and experience the Road to Hana together without anyone having to concentrate on navigating or driving. If you are considering a private Road to Hana tour, book Hawaii by Storm and request Mark. I truly can't say enough good things about him. We were sad to miss black rock beach, but Pete made up for it. He was very knowledgeable, shared lots of information, and had a wonderful fun attitude. Very good driver, too. We had a great time!

We will never forget our day on the road to Hana with Patricia. We saw some breath taking sites. Patricia knew exactly where to stop and was extremely knowledgeable. We got many beautiful pictures and many cherished memories. Banana bread, coffee, ice cream and huli huli chicken were great! After a long day in the road to Hana we ventured up to the top of Haleakala. We had never seen a sunset as beautiful as that, it was almost spiritual. We spent 12 hours together and Patricia was amazingly patient, knowledgeable and charismatic. This was an amazing day. We highly recommend this tour and our tour guide Patricia.

The road to Hana is not for the faint of heart, and it’s definitely not something that should be attempted by the uninitiated. To attempt this on your own will only sour the experience. Having a professional tour guide behind the wheel allowed my family to get the most out of the experience. Peter was informative, professional and knowledgeable. He enabled my family to get the most out of the experience without the stress of driving or knowing where to go.

A fantastic tour with Spencer. Beautiful scenery and the individualized tour can’t be beat. We were so happy we could leave the driving to a pro and just enjoy the scenery. Driving on the Road to Hana takes an expert. Spencer had a ton of local knowledge to share. Ask for him on your next trip!

Peter was fantastic, and led us on a memorable and customized day into an area that he know so well. His knowledge of the flora, history, and stories of the area was legendary. His patience and flexibility (need to pull to the roadside to manage a telehealth visit before we leave cell coverage? No problem!) made everyone in the family comfortable. His driving was safe yet efficient (on a pretty challenging road!). Best of all, we got to know a local for a day and get to know him and his point of view on so many things. Yes, the Road to Hana was filled with great stops and fun beaches and excellent pizza. Peter made it all super-efficient and fun. Strongly recommended!

From the moment Patricia picked us up at the hotel, every detail was meticulously planned. She shared her knowledge of Maui, Hawaii and Haleakala with us and made the trip thoroughly entertaining. She provided extra service accommodating our requests and even found the perfect “hidden spot” to watch the Sunset. I cannot recommend this trip more! It was the definition of a 5-Star experience.

We did a private Road to Hana tour with Melanie (“Mel”). It was awesome.Mel loves the area and she guided us with the right combo of facts, safety and fun.We loved diving in the waterfall. She took us the safest route and we created some lasting memories.It also felt like a mini food tour as we visited local fruit stands, a quality pizza place, banana bread and a local chocolate farm.The road is impressive and it is really, really nice to have a safe driver focused on the road. Vehicle was a sweet ride and Mel was sweeter. Thanks for a great day!

The Road to Hana was an awesome experience!! What made it better was our tour guide, Daniel. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and attentive throughout our trip. It was just me and my husband and we had a blast with him. We never got rushed and he took lots of pictures for us. He answered all our questions and gave us great information about island life and history of the island. We were exhausted by the end of it but didn’t want it to end!! Book the trip and ask for Daniel! You won’t regret it.

My wife, daughter, and I did the private Road to Hana tour. Our tour guide, Nick, was fantastic! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He was also extremely accommodating and willing to add things that we wanted to add or skip areas we weren’t that interested in seeing. I would highly recommend Nick.

Our full day with him was easily the highlight of our entire trip and something we'll never forget.What sets Nick apart is how much he genuinely cares. He customized the whole day around what we wanted to see and do, from stunning waterfalls to great local spots, and he always seemed to know the perfect timing for everything. We had an amazing Road to Hana tour with Nick! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day fun and stress-free.
