We did two tours with Vicente, and it were the best tour experiences we ever had.Vicente shared history, background information and fun facts during the tour with us. He showed us all kinds of flowers and plants while passing by on the road to Hana. He knows where are delicious lunch and dinner places. We had an absolutely incredible experience with Hawaii by Storm, and I cannot recommend our driver, Mark, highly enough. I am a very anxious passenger and, before our Road to Hana tour, I was genuinely worried about the drive. With Mark, I was not scared for even a second. He is an exceptionally skilled driver, knows the road inside and out, and made me feel completely safe and comfortable the entire day. For someone who gets nervous on winding and challenging roads, that alone made the experience priceless. But Mark was so much more than a great driver. He was funny, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. He knew so much about Maui, the Road to Hana, and Hawaiian history and culture, and shared it in such an interesting and entertaining way. We were traveling as a family—my husband and me and our two young adult children—and he related so naturally to every one of us. He was also completely flexible and made the day feel like our tour rather than a set itinerary. We did the Epic Tour, which I highly recommend. Instead of turning around and driving back the same way, we continued around the full loop and got to experience the incredible backside of Maui as well. We are so glad we chose that option. This was a splurge for us, but it was worth every penny. Having Mark drive meant that all four of us could relax, enjoy the scenery and experience the Road to Hana together without anyone having to concentrate on navigating or driving. If you are considering a private Road to Hana tour, book Hawaii by Storm and request Mark. I truly can't say enough good things about him. He made what I had worried might be a stressful day into one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. Thank you, Mark, for an unforgettable day!

My family of three were picked up from our hotel in Lahaina by our driver/tour guide, Lyman. Lyman was personable, funny, super knowledgeable of the area and island, and a great driver! He was mindful of our interests, needs and comfort. We had snacks and lunch at some local spots and developed a newfound appreciation for the nature and beauty that Maui has to share! The tour was about nine hours long, but time flew by and we hardly noticed how long we had been driving around from start to finish.

What a wonderful experience! We got to see so much and our driver Vicence (not sure of spelling) was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Our party of 4 all agreed that this was the best! Had a wonderful experience on our private jeep halfway to Hana tour. Our guide, Stacey, was THE BEST. She shared lots of information (on the landscape, history, different vegetation, animals, etc) as we drove, and really let us make the trip our own on where and when we stopped to check things out. Highly recommend this tour and Stacey as a guide!

We will never forget our day on the road to Hana with Patricia. We saw some breath taking sites. Patricia knew exactly where to stop and was extremely knowledgeable. We got many beautiful pictures and many cherished memories. Banana bread, coffee, ice cream and huli huli chicken were great! After a long day in the road to Hana we ventured up to the top of Haleakala. We had never seen a sunset as beautiful as that, it was almost spiritual. We spent 12 hours together and Patricia was amazingly patient, knowledgeable and charismatic. This was an amazing day. We highly recommend this tour and our tour guide Patricia.

Amazing!!
Don’t rely on the gps as it did not work. There is also no cell service on most of the route. If I was going to do it again, I would print out my route including distance between points. It all worked out and was amazing, I just wish we had been more prepared.
