In all my years of travel, I don't think I've had a better guide than Aaron. His passion for what he does spilled over to everyone on this excursion. We were hesitant with the impending Hurricane Nolo coming in the next day. Aaron was not only reassuring but he made adjustments and additions to our tour that extended the trip and added great value. Friendly, knowledgeable, safety-minded are just some of his attributes. Whenever I hear of someone I know who's visiting the big island, his tour WILL be the one I recommend. Well done Aaron! Mahalo!

We had an excellent experience with Big Hawai’i Tours. Fred and Maryna were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable guides! Checking in on weather conditions to ensure the best views, and seeing so many beautiful places! We traveled very comfortably in their mini bus and they checked on us often to make sure we were comfortable or if anyone needed a bathroom break or a snack! I love supporting local businesses because they are the most invested in making sure you have a great experience or service and this held true with Big Hawai’i tours and at great prices too! Thanks for helping us make awesome memories in Hawaii and we will definitely book again when back on the Big Island 🌺🌴🌸 Trina Miller

We were vacationing with our 3 generation family and did this tour with Mac as our guide. He did an excellent job relating to all of us and was able to keep the youngest involved and listening. I would gladly book another tour with Mac. We were even able to cap off a great day with a beautiful sunset on the way home.

Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable, shared interesting stories that made the drive fly by, and took us to amazing places. Great experience and great guide
We had a great time hiking with our guide Ryan. He’s very knowledgeable and entertaining. The hike was just as described. You can do this hike on your own but it will not be the same experience. We learned so much about the geology and legends as well as the plants. I know if we didn’t book this tour we would have missed so much. Worth every penny! Would highly recommend hiking with Ryan.

Aaron is the MAN! Amazing tour and day with him. he has a NEW passenger van and takes you to all the BEST places in Hilo. Need to stop at Longs...no problem...want the best poke on the island...he takes you there also. Much better deal than NCL tours which are cattle drives, this is a personal GREAT trip. Fantastic adventure. Great way to see the Big Island and all its charms in one day. From black sand beaches all the way to volcanic craters, what a perfect day. Our guide Lewis was phenomenal. If you book this trip, call the Company and ask for him. He is that good. Knowledgeable, friendly, adaptable, everything you want in a guide. We really felt like we had our own personal tour of the Island. What a great person and a true professional. I can’t say enough about him and the experience we had today. It was just incredible!

Dave was an amazing tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and was willing to customize the tour to match our needs. We were lucky to see many turtles and the Cloud Forest was a spiritual journey. Our guide Anna was well versed in Hawaiian nature and made the experience of a forest interactive. The coffee farm was scenic and we got to pick some fruit!
