A must not miss. The experience is one of a kind. You are inches from the manta rays as they do their thing in the wild. Comfort level is high as you are in a sheltered cove, land visible, depth maybe 10-20 feet. It is something you will never forget. Can't say enough about the crew. Cap't Lena, Trev, Diego, and Makua are safety first, professional, funny, and as nice as can be. They have you covered on the boat and in the water. Right there to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. Do not pass this up, just do it.

What a fun time! This tour is a nice little combination of adventure, serenity, humor, nature, and nuggets of Hawaiian history & geography. Kevin, the tour guide, will lead you on a fun kayaking excursion to a seaside cliff that you can jump off, a cave that backsplashes water, and a reef where you can snorkel to see several species of fish. If you're lucky, you'll see dolphins -- we did. They were about 50 yards away, gently cruising by. Kevin provides excellent instructions throughout the trip, making sure that you're safe and comfortable. He'll even crack a few jokes and offer great advice about other activities -- such as snorkeling with manta rays -- that tourists often enjoy. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys kayaking, snorkeling, and /or just being out in nature. Make sure to take a protective, buoyant phone case for pictures of the Kona coastline, the fish down below, and potentially dolphins!

Super convenient speed boat with only 6 other guests and lots of time snorkeling each spot. Beautiful snorkeling! Lots of fish and creatures and cool rock formations. Some people were able to swim with a turtle.

A great tour, but more difficult than expected.
We are seniors in our seventies. When we read the itinerary we knew it was a long day, but the activities were very attractive and it was something we felt we could do. What we didn’t realize was the amount of time needled to acclimate to the altitude, the extent of the warnings regarding altitude sickness and the height of the vehicle from the ground to the first step. Our tour guide did a good job of explaining the need for establishing good practices in order to avoid altitude issues. She was very conscientious about ensuring everyone on the truck was safe and well educated. We didn’t anticipate the difficulties that we would encounter entering and leaving the truck. That was compounded by the number of stops and experiences that required getting on and off. While everything we experienced was wonderful and as described, it was also exhausting and personally difficult. We have nothing but good things to say regarding our guide and drivers. They were professional and caring and dedicated to making this experience positive for everyone. A stronger warning and difficulty rating might have convinced us to reconsider this tour at our age.

Our tour guide was very knowledgable about the area and history of the Kona Cloud Forest. I was quite taken by her knowledge of the different foliage in the area,history and botanical importance to the environment. The trail was natural, which made it all the more interesting, The tour guide answered questions clearly and with confidence, showing her knowledge of the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends, co-workers and visitors.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this adventure is 1000/10! Highly recommend and it will be a highlight of your Hawaiian vacation! The boat ride was thrilling, the nighttime “swim” was remarkable. You won’t have a better crew than Alexis, Raechel, and Emily! We learned a ton about the area and manta rays. We say about 3 manta rays. But just being in the water at night was worth it! So if you don’t see any manta rays which is possible it’s still a fantastic experience! I would definitely book again! I would also say this should only be for good swimmers! Anytime you are getting in the ocean- know how to swim. Your panic and fear puts everyone at risk! Friendly reminder. Bring some cash to tip the crew! They are worth it and work hard for you to have an excellent experience!

Spontaneous, but well worth the time.
This trip was very spontaneous for my husband and I. I felt the cost of the experience was well within the price range of activities on the island. Our tour guide Heather rose was amazing. She was super informative, pleasant to talk to I felt like she knew all the answers to the questions that were asked. I also feel like the environment that the trees and flowers are flourishing in was incredible. Highly recommend this as an unusual stop on your Hawaiian vacation.
