Dave was our guide. It was a rainy day but he made the best of it. He is very knowledgeable. We only had 4 people on our tour. We were unable to swim due to the intensity of the falls but the overall experience was great fun.

Very Excellent Adventure Tour
What an excellent tour! Our guide, Garry, was so knowledgeable and interesting. So fun to explore with him. The tour picked us up at our rental house in a nice Sprinter van. We got to go onto private land which is pretty much uninhabited. They provided walking sticks, rain jackets, towels, day packs, snacks - everything was in great condition and excellent quality (ie. Patagonia jackets). It was so interesting to learn about the land and peoples who populated it originally. The hike was exactly as described - mild walking about 1-2 miles. Unfortunately, we were there the day before Hurricane Lala hit the island and the waterfalls were enormous so no swimming for us. Garry was amazed because he had been there 2 days prior and the size of the waterfalls was at least half to 3/4 of what we saw. We were disappointed to miss the swimming in the waterfalls but....that's nature for you. We had an excellent lunch afterwards. This tour is pricey but well worth it. I would definitely use Hawaii Forest & Trail again for other adventures.

I can’t say enough good things about this tour! It was amazing and Igor was just wonderful. We have teenagers and they can be difficult to please at times. Igor was kind patient but more importantly took us to all these wonderful places around the Island. It’s a long day of traveling around the island but it’s well worth it. There are plenty of food stops along the way so don’t worry about that. Bring layers because climate changes rapidly. My girls loved Igor and we loved that he shared his favorite spots with us! Thank you for a memorable day!

We had a wonderful coffee tasting experience! It was educational, engaging, and entertaining from beginning to end. We learned so much about the growing, harvesting, roasting, and brewing process, and the tasting was both informative and enjoyable. Our Guide Kamalani was very informative on the island and we enjoyed the UTV tour and the course was muddy which made it very good for the tour. Got to taste guavas along the tour. Its great for Local families that hasn't done ATV/ UTV riding before. They teach you how to use the equipment before going out. Locals call to book your reservation:)

Fantastic adventure. Great way to see the Big Island and all its charms in one day. From black sand beaches all the way to volcanic craters, what a perfect day. Our guide Lewis was phenomenal. If you book this trip, call the Company and ask for him. He is that good. Knowledgeable, friendly, adaptable, everything you want in a guide. We really felt like we had our own personal tour of the Island. What a great person and a true professional. I can’t say enough about him and the experience we had today. It was just incredible!

We had a wonderful day on our private tour of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park from our cruise ship, thanks to Katelynn! From start to finish, everything was smooth, well organized, and stress-free. Katelynn was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. She answered all of our questions with patience and shared so much interesting information about the volcanoes, the island, and the local history. The scenery was absolutely incredible, and having a private tour allowed us to explore at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed.
