What To Expect
Enjoy a whale watch on our luxurious 46' Newton Boat the Namaka (Namaka means Hawaiian ocean goddess) Your captain will slowly cruise the Kohala Coast area, a whale breeding sanctuary. We most often encounter humpback whale breeding and birthing activity as well as interactions with spinner dolphins. Going slow and keeping at a respectful distance to the wildlife leads to amazing ocean encounters while keeping the health and well being of the animals as a priority. The Namaka features 3 accommodating viewing decks, a spacious head and shaded seating areas. Your crew are knowledgable marine naturalists. Depending on conditions a hydrophone may be deployed for live whale sounds. Top off the adventure with a beautiful Hawaiian sunset. Will you be lucky and get a green flash?
