4 Hour Private Sunset Fishing Charter
Overview
Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Shortbill Spearfish, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. You can expect to do some trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Welcome aboard a 33' Offshore sport fishing boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes equipped with all the necessary fishing technology including outriggers, a fighting chair, live bait station and more. Plus, inside you'll find a small sitting area with table and a clean bathroom with sink and toilet.
Kona has the unique distinction of being one of the few places in the world that has a caught over a 1,000 lbs blue marlin in each month of the year, meaning you have the opportunity to land a massive trophy fish.

What To Expect
Join us on the water when there are less boats, beautiful sunsets, and amazing fishing. These large pelagic fish are biting at all hours so spend the morning sleeping in, going to the beach, and touring around, but spend the afternoon with Reel Escapes Hawaii on the water. We gather all the information from the morning charters and use it to our advantage in the afternoon. This four (4) hour charter is perfect for the group that wants to spend some time fishing, but not making it an all-day adventure.

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on 4 Hour Private Sunset Fishing Charter. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022Yes. Whatever the fishing calls for: live bait, frozen bait, cut bait, or chum, our Charter Captains will have plentiful supplies on hand. The same thing goes for artificial bait such as lures, flies, or plugs.
Jul 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the activity start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the activity start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the activity start time will not be accepted.
