Our Outrigger Canoe Surfing Experience With Waikiki Beach Services was 1 of the highlights of our vacation on Oahu. Our family of 6 took a 3 wave 30 minute outrigger canoe ride on Waikiki Beach & loved every minute of it. The photos they take of your surf ride are priceless. This is a great family fun activity but prepared to get splashed by the waves as you paddle to shore.

Had a fun time and learned a lot with Charlie! He was patient funny and encouraging. It was really great to have a one on one lesson. So you know…he had a beach umbrella where you can leave your stuff and sit and relax after your lesson. Definitely bring some water you will need it afterwards! Highly recommend…I am 55 and was able to stand pretty quickly.

We had an amazing time! I was nervous beforehand because I don’t like going underwater and was worried about flipping over (which I now know was a needless worry). The entire experience felt safe, well-organized, and professionally run. The captains were fantastic, gave clear instructions, and made everyone feel comfortable. Catching the waves in the outrigger canoe was an unforgettable highlight of our trip. A 10/10 by the whole family. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing experience!! Pro tip...wear booties!! My son had an awesome time until he stepped on an urchin. His instructor was phenomenal and knew exactly what to do and handled the situation beautifully. 100% would do it again. The meet up at the Duke statue feels strange but you're in the right place!! I would highly recommend these guys over any other on this beach as they are so friendly and knowledgeable!!
