What To Expect
Waikiki's south-facing coastline provides the perfect environment for beginners, featuring gentle, sandy bottoms and shallow waters. Your lesson begins on the beach, where an experienced instructor will introduce you to essential water safety, paddling techniques, surfboard control, and wave riding skills. This on-land session lays the groundwork for catching your first wave. If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
