My family of three were picked up from our hotel in Lahaina by our driver/tour guide, Lyman. Lyman was personable, funny, super knowledgeable of the area and island, and a great driver! He was mindful of our interests, needs and comfort. We had snacks and lunch at some local spots and developed a newfound appreciation for the nature and beauty that Maui has to share! The tour was about nine hours long, but time flew by and we hardly noticed how long we had been driving around from start to finish.

Great tour for all ages
Trevor was the perfect guide/driver for our multigenerational group of 13. He took us to all of the spots on Road to Hana that we wanted to see and a few we didn’t know about. He even served as our life guard at the black sand beach and made sure we circled back to one stop we missed when the sky opened up. We did this tour on our first of two days in Maui (on a cruise) and pick up and drop off were very easy. He was patient and flexible and exactly what we were looking for. What a wonderful experience! We got to see so much and our driver Vicence (not sure of spelling) was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Our party of 4 all agreed that this was the best! One of our passengers was prone to car sickness and he acknowledged it and was very caring to their needs. This was by far one of our all time favorite excursions!!

This tour really surprised us. It was a nice day tour around the side of the island that the tours can't take you. Whale watching spots, blowhole, history locations, local eats, and of course shopping are pointed out. The second part of the drive is a bit tricky because of the one lane blind turns on the side of the slopes, but you are warned by the narrator before about turning back. The GPS keeps track of you and alerts of things to check out. Definitely worth the few bucks and an afternoon.

The road is about 120 miles but it takes all day!! We did not make anywhere near the possible stops that were mentioned. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride! I drove a rental minivan so that my 4 travel would not miss out. The weather was perfect and it was a great learning experience!

We had a great time.Robbie was knowledgeable and professional. We were able to do so many activities that we might not have been able to if we had chosen a group tour due to physical limitations of other guests. We definitely would have not known how to navigate to all the sites if we went alone. My husband wanted to jump the 45 ft falls. Robbie went into the water to make sure it was deep enough! He also swam out to the black rock to make sure he was safe and able to dive and swim back to the beach. He knew so much about the area and made sure we were safe and had a great time. He took several pics on his cell and with his camera. He gives cell phone photos right away and sends the camera photos after editing. Nice having someone to take photos.
