She had so many interesting stories to share, knew so much about the island, and made the entire day feel personal, authentic, and completely different from a typical sightseeing tour.There are honestly so many special things about this tour that I don’t even want to share because I wouldn’t want to ruin the surprises for anyone else! One particularly meaningful moment was when Yvonne created a beautiful keepsake for me that I was able to bring home. We registered for a cash fund to help pay for this tour for our honeymoon. Overall, I think it’s worth the money, but doesn’t make it any less expensive! Wish it was a little longer of a flight for how much it is. Our tour guide/pilot was John and was very knowledgeable about the area and where we were flying around. Helicopter was very safe and stable, coming from 2 people who had never been in one. Stopped in the rainforest for about 30 min and had some local fruit, pretty cool experience. Also I don’t like how they ask you to buy a photo at the end for $30, I would rather them include it in the price of the ticket and you get a photo with it. I don’t think a lot of people want to pay for anything more after spending $700+ for the flight. Would create a lot less waste of printing out all the photos and the photographer makes more too.

Was weary of making the drive myself since I wanted to view the sites instead of worrying about the drive. So glad sister and I booked this trip with Local Maui Tours. Met easily with guide (I'm horrible with names, Callen sp?) at a safe location. He drove a clean and very comfortable Wagoner. Felt very comfortable with his driving especially with all the curves, bridges and having to stop for single lane sections in some areas. He was very thoughtful and brought a fresh coconut and mangoes for us to try along with extra water. Beautiful drive with what seemed like waterfalls around every curve. Had plenty of time to enjoy the stops along the way.

Our tour guide Travis was amazing. Funny, knowledgeable and very good at offering options specific to our family and how we felt in the moment. The roads are very windy (600 switchbacks) but I never felt like we were in an unsafe situation, even when he had to back up or maneuver in tight circumstances - I felt that my family and I were very safe. Ask for Travis. He also knows a lot about Hawaiian culture, my husband, teen and 20 year old really enjoyed themselves. And so did I!
