Here’s the updated review with that added:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Our family booked an early morning private snorkeling charter with Kaanapali Ocean Adventures, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Maui.Captain Dan and Marissa were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we stepped aboard, they were warm, friendly, upbeat, and genuinely excited to make sure we had an incredible experience. They made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip while creating such a fun and relaxing atmosphere.They took us all the way over to Lanai and found crystal-clear water with amazing snorkeling conditions. We swam with sea turtles and saw countless beautiful tropical fish. We also rented two sea scooters, and they were worth every penny! Gliding effortlessly through the water was incredibly relaxing, so much fun, and allowed us to cover much more distance and see even more of the incredible marine life.If you’re looking for the best private or group snorkeling charter, look no further. Kaanapali Ocean Adventures is an absolute 10 out of 10. This experience will be one of the lasting highlights of our Maui vacation and a memory our family will treasure for a lifetime. An amazing tour!

We did a South Maui Turtle Reef Discovery tour (March 18th, 2023) from Makena location and it was amazing! Tyler was our guide. He was great! Very knowledgeable and super comfortable in his job! He explained everything and made us feel comfortable on the ocean. He showed us a couple different locations and we were lucky enough to see the whales as well. Tyler explained how the whales travel and told stories about other encounters with the whales. Tyler had an underwater camera and videoed my daughter and I swimming with a turtle... that was a definite highlight of our trip! I would highly recommend this tour and will most definitely book again if every in Maui!

Gratitude for a wonderful enlightenment

What a wonderful day. Colibri picked us up and off we went on a beautiful experience. The whole day was soft and focused on raising awareness and understanding the gratitude of being on Maui. Dragon's tooth was simply gorgeous and Colibri's singing and musical flute added a whole new dimension to the day. Highly recommend her! Ask for her so that you experience that magic.

Fun trip Maui-Lanai

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. The adventure began about 7 AM, on time, and we were shuttled to the boat in a small dinghy with the boarding of the small shuttle being an interesting and fun experience. The captain and crew provide everything that is needed to have a great time including snorkel and mask and fins. Wetsuit tops are available. Flotation devices were available if needed. In fact it is best not to bring too much equipment since boarding the dinghy may cause some of your belongings to get a bit wet. Willow, the captains mate, gave us a safety talk and off we went on our adventure to Lanai. The two dive spots were wonderful. We were able to do some spectacular whale watching on our way to the dive spots and on our return trip. We also watched a large family of spinner dolphins cavort off the coast of Lanai. Snacks and drinks were perfect. All in all this was a well run adventure and one of the high points of the trip was Willow with her bubbly personality and friendly demeanor. My spouse and I recommend this trip highly for both experienced snorkelers and beginners. At the end of the journey we left a well-deserved gratuity since we were so impressed with the entire operation. We are sure that, if you take this trip with Kaanapali ocean adventures, you will be thrilled with the entire experience just as we were. As a final note, the adventure begins early in the morning. There is parking available at every hotel that is free and is identified as “beach access parking“. There are only about 20 spots available at each hotel but, since the adventure begins so early in the morning, we had no trouble finding these free parking spots. If you park in the parking structure the cost of a days worth of parking is around $40. In addition, the organization will send a text the day before the trip to inform you of items you need to bring and specific instructions on where to meet.

Easily the highlight of our trip...

Our concierge recommended Epic for their waterfall tour and they handled our high energy kids (7 and 10) so well that we took their advise and did this Spiritual Adventure too. We got a discount because it was our second trip with them (love a good discount and helping a small business). Lorena was our guide and my words won't do it justice. I was blown away by her... just being around her made my whole family take pause and smile. Super kid friendly and they loved the fruit and homemade scrub. Such a calming and beautiful way to start our last day on Maui... Thank you Lorena. We will be back for more next year.

The experience that lasts for days after

After several hikes and adventuring around the island this is exactly what I needed. Lorena was a delight! The yoga and breath work.... wow takes you to a deeper level. The body scrub and dip in the ocean was both relaxing and invigorating, loved it. Fresh island fruit to finish off the amazing experience. Absolutely enjoyed my treat to myself.

The BEST experience we had on Maui

Wow!! We stumbled upon Epic by chance and soooo happy we did. After having a great waterfall adventure we decided to try their Spiritual Adventure. Our guide Lorena was FANTASTIC!!! She led us through a guided meditation, some yoga (I'm a novice and she made sure it wasn't too much for me) and breathing exercises. I've never done breath work before and its hard to explain but when we finished I felt incredible, clear minded and light. We used the coffee scrub and jumped in the ocean to rinse off. She had fresh fruit for us to enjoy as we chatted about the experience and enjoyed the beautiful view. This is a Maui MUST EXPERIENCE!
