The Captain and crew are safety conscious. Made sure we knew what do and what we were doing. A perfect amount of little snacks made the trip about the snorkeling- I appreciated that. One piece of feedback- if you say the boat will not wait for late comers- mean it. We waited and it cut into our time alone at the crater. This is especially true since we came back to the dock to drop off people who came for the first part only and the late people could be picked up at that time. It’s not right to keep the on time people waiting and then missing time because of the late people. May seem harsh but if you say something in the instructions, mean it.

We had a wonderful experience with John who led us on the road to Hana! We are a big family of 7, so having a private car made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking to drive the road to Hana this is the way to go. They communicate well and run right on time with a car prepared for anything and everything! The Half Road to Hana was more than our family of 9 expected. We were in two different vehicles but our guides, Spencer and Luke, provided us with a most memorable experience. Both were very knowledgeable about the surroundings, the history of the area and were always willing to take our questions. Both were humorous and polite young men. While at a waterfall, our son and oldest granddaughter jumped off the waterfall after being guided and instructed ever so carefully as to how to jump safely. Needless to say they were beyond excited about their successful jumps! And the guides jumped as well. All jn all it was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii and thank you to the guides for making it so!

The private tours were booked and I wasn't sure we would like the group setting as much, but Matt, the owner, has carefully considered and arranged every aspect of the tour to be excellent, fun and safe. Our picky teenagers and college student had not a single complaint and loved everything about the tour - equipment, thoughtful extras, gear, stops, instruction, rides to and from the route, instructors...every single aspect was very well done. It could not have been improved upon. Highly recommend!!!
