What an exciting ride!! How many people can say that they road a bike down a volcano! Remy was our van driver who drove us to our starting point, as well as following behind our group for safety’s sake. He gave us so much information about the area we were traveling through in a fun presentation! Our bike tour guide was Kanji. He kept us on the road and gave us interesting facts about the places we’d stop at. Both were awesome guides! They also provided us with excellent safety equipment, as well as good important tips for staying upright on on our bikes so that we could enjoy Maui’s beauty! I highly recommend this activity for bike riders looking for an exhilarating time!

A stress free trip to Hāna and the backside.
My wife and I went on the road to Hāna ultimate trip which included returning via the backside. Eugene is a small business owner, who was great. He is extremely knowledgeable. The trip is customized to your likes and speed. You get to go to places that larger vans don’t go to. I’m glad I did not drive the roads myself. Lots of hairpin turns, single lane roads and bridges. You get to sit back and enjoy the scenery rather than focus on driving. Eugene knew that the backside road would be closed while they worked on shoring up the cliffs and that it wouldn’t open until the afternoon, so he planned the trip accordingly. A sign also said local traffic only.

The Perfect Day!
Absolutely perfect day on the Road to Hana. Henry was the perfect guide( and driver!) with so much knowledge of the island and the people. It truly was an adventure… swimming under a waterfall, bodysurfing at a beautiful, quiet beach, “not the usual” farm stand stop, and so much more. I cannot imagine driving this road on our own as it has so many narrow and “blind” turns. The added bonus was a great video and photos that Henry captured along the way. This outing was top highlight of trip to Maui. Thank you Henry!!!

Had a wonderful experience on our private jeep halfway to Hana tour. Our guide, Stacey, was THE BEST. She shared lots of information (on the landscape, history, different vegetation, animals, etc) as we drove, and really let us make the trip our own on where and when we stopped to check things out. Highly recommend this tour and Stacey as a guide!

The provider is very flexible on this 24 hr rental. They offered to preprogram a route for us but we used bluetooth and made our own. Great fun driving the North to West Shore from Momma's Fish House around Mauna Kahalawai stopping at key points along the way. Would recommend!

We opted for a private tour on our cruise stop. Not disappointed. Fun and excellent sightseeing tour. Summer was very knowledgeable about each stop. She gave good insight to the history and plants of the island. Great experienced driving skills for Hana road. Very personable and very good guide. Recommend.

Helpful and Knowledgeable Guides, great sightseeing opportunities !!!!!
We used C Big Island tours for Maui (Tropics of Maui & Rainforest Valley), Hilo (Volcanoes National Park), and Kona. Each tour had a local person as the guide; each was knowledgeable, sharing fun tidbits of information, telling jokes, and providing great spots for pictures! Great places to eat. The Iao Needle was interesting to see and our tour ended with a double rainbow overhead. Our Kona tour was cancelled since the ship could not tether in the port due to rough waters; so sorry we missed the tour but our money was promptly refunded. Highly recommend C Big Island to anyone visiting the islands!!!
