This is our second time on this particular excursion, and the crew and the boat are fantastic. The initial stop was too murky to be able to really snorkel, so we sailed straight over to Molokini and got some extra time in the water.If you're thinking about doing a snorkeling trip on Maui, I can't recommend this more.

We went snorkeling for the very first time. It was an amazing experience! My 7-year-old son was a little nervous at first, and honestly, so was I, but once we got the hang of it, we were off and having so much fun! The crew — Breydan, AJ, and Jenn (I believe those were their names) — were absolutely amazing. They were so attentive, friendly, and constantly making sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed. The food and drinks were always taken care of, and they truly went above and beyond to make it such a great experience.We’re new to traveling, and growing up, neither my partner nor I traveled, so we didn’t realize that tipping the tour crew was a thing. After everything the crew did for us, we really wished we had been prepared to show our appreciation. If you take this tour and feel the crew deserves it, consider bringing a little cash to thank them. They truly deserve it and more!We highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to do it again!

We had the best time on our Day’s End Cocktail Sunset Sail Cruise aboard the Alii Nui Sailing Charter in August 2026. The Signature cocktails they advertised were outstanding. They even walked around and took orders and brought your drinks to you. Customer service on our cruise was over the top, not only were our drinks served to us, but the Captain and crew all walked around the decking talking to everyone, they brought me a napkin when I inquired about one, and even came around to clean everyone’s sunglasses. The crew was very personable and the weather was amazing. Also, the appetizers and barbecue sandwiches were delicious. They even had vegetarian. I have been on many cruises, but this one was the best by far. They do not overbook so there was plenty of seating and room for everyone to move around. I highly recommend it.

We recently did the all inclusive tour. Our guides were Laurel and Alex. They made the experience so much fun. They shared so much knowledge with us about Maui and we had a blast. The waters were kind of rough this day but that didn’t stop them. They took us to other snorkel spots and made sure we got the full experience. We always felt safe with them. This is our second time doing this tour and both were so different but so great. Highly recommend!!

An absolutely amazing day from start to finish! We got to see dolphins, as well as several sea turtles. The snorkeling was fantastic, but what really made the experience stand out were the guides. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely engaged in making sure everyone was having a great time.Everything felt very personal and well organized, and the breakfast and lunch they provided were a really nice bonus. You could tell that the crew truly cared about giving us a great experience rather than simply taking us out on a boat.We had an incredible day and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui!

I have lived on Maui for 22 years and this was my first time on this tour. I can’t believe it took me so long to experience that side of Maui. But then again, maybe it was perfect timing for the point I am in my life journey. The views brought tears to my eyes as I couldn’t help but feel connected to something that is so much greater than us. Being part of something so ancient yet still becoming was an experience that will stay with me forever. Scott was an amazing captain who made the education aspect fun and easy to remember. I felt safe with him steering us through the vast ocean!!

Was weary of making the drive myself since I wanted to view the sites instead of worrying about the drive. So glad sister and I booked this trip with Local Maui Tours. Met easily with guide (I'm horrible with names, Callen sp?) at a safe location. He drove a clean and very comfortable Wagoner. Felt very comfortable with his driving especially with all the curves, bridges and having to stop for single lane sections in some areas. He was very thoughtful and brought a fresh coconut and mangoes for us to try along with extra water. Beautiful drive with what seemed like waterfalls around every curve. Had plenty of time to enjoy the stops along the way.
