We had an incredible time with Surf Yoga Maui and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to learn how to surf while having a fun, personalized experience!A huge shoutout to Eddie, my instructor, and Summer, who guided us through the booking process with ease! I came into the lesson with some concerns about surfing, and Eddie immediately made me feel comfortable while still challenging me—which was exactly what I wanted to get out of the experience. He brought a lighthearted, encouraging energy to the lesson, patient and approachable, and stayed right nearby the entire time to make sure I felt safe and supported. He also went above and beyond by offering to help my boyfriend, who had rented gear from Surf Yoga Maui as well for a very fair price. Eddie gave us some great local tips and recommendations for places to explore on the island, which was such a nice bonus!They also had a photographer there, which was a really nice surprise. The photos were such a great way to capture the experience, and appreciated there was no pressure when it came to purchasing them. Big shout out to Sean for capturing our day!A big thank you to Summer as well for making the booking process so easy. She was incredibly attentive and responsive, and even suggested moving my lesson to a different day because the surf conditions were expected to be better. I’m so glad we listened to her recommendation because the conditions ended up being amazing! The team also had surf booties, yoga pants for ladies and rash guards, to make for a warm and enjoyable surfing experience. Lots of nice little touches like this really go a long wayShout out to the **Surf Yoga Maui team** for such a memorable experience. From booking through to the lesson itself, everything was wonderful. Definitely book with Surf Yoga Maui—you won’t regret it!! 🌊🏄‍♀️🤙

The instructors are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable before getting in the water. If you’re ever considering surf lessons we highly recommend going here! I tried surfing for the first time ever in Hawaii! I had such a blast in the group lesson and met a lot of nice people! The instructor’s Devon and Theo were very friendly and knowledgeable about surfing and they were very encouraging to everyone as most of us were all newbies. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to try something new and get out of their comfort zone. I will say it is quite the workout to paddle out to the waves and does get exhausting. If you are aren’t in decent physical shape and very comfortable around the ocean I would caution you for safety to make sure this is something you are comfortable doing. It was a blast and I can’t wait to go back to Maui and try again!

Highly recommend and would definitely use again we did semi private lesson for my 10 and 13 year old and also the private at the same time for my 6 year old the booking and checkin process was easy their instructors Dillon and Josh were great and they had the best time the asked to do it again the next day! They all caught waves and said the instructors were fun and helpful! Checkin provided a rash guard and surf shoes and I felt like the price for 2 hours was more than reasonable! Will definitely use again the next time we are back!

Mario was very patient with my two kids who had their very first surfing lesson with him. He made the lesson easy to understand and fun! He made sure they understood all of the safety aspects before letting them get out on the waves. In particular, Mario was very kind to my daughter who was really scared to get out there. Connor and Azure were fantastic instructors. They were so good with our 2 kids. In our first lesson, all of us were on our feet shredding waves. We even learned new Maui slang words like "crip" and "cherry"! They provided insights into how the waves of the ocean work and how to properly ride them. We had such a great first lesson we rebooked for later in our trip. We are hoping to come back to Maui soon and continue learning how to surf!

My grandsons (12 and 13) had a great time with Keoki. They both got up quickly and, with his coaching, were able to surf the entire lesson. We found him at the east end of the park. They wore their own rashguards and water shoes. They had so much fun that we went back a second day.

This was awesome! My 3 boys wanted to surf, and our host, Sassan, with a wealth of surfing experience, helped them each ride waves. Great equipment, lesson, and the location had a great break perfect for beginners. Sassan was fantastic and I totally recommend them. Mahalo!
