Great unguided tour and hike!
Really enjoyed getting to do the experience without a large group - and at our own pace. The boards are fun and the river is mostly low traffic. The hike to the waterfall was slightly crowded, but mostly nice and a unique activity for the island. Alternated between standing and kneeling on the board due to wind, but both worked well.One note of caution. We're both decently fit (30's/40's) and had a VERY hard time on one section due to the strong winds. Literally pushing us backwards for a few minutes. The river doesn't really have edges to stop for a break, and you'll have to power through it. Kayaks were gliding easily at the same time, so if you have hesitations, go that route. Also, beware the tour boats, the wake is pretty intense and about dumped me off when standing.

My kids and grandkids took this tour and absolutely loved it and would do it again. They were thrilled with the helpful guide and thoroughly enjoyed the Kayaking experience.Their favorite part was the snorkeling and seeing so many fish. Beautiful views and fun activity. Just be ready for the paddle back upstream and upwind. Also, don't stand on the paddle board when the barge comes by and leaves a wake. Unless, you want to take a little refreshing dip in the river :) Very friendly help at the office too!

The Kayak experience was fantastic our guide, Chance Kolo was fun and attentive and shared lots of history of his family and town. Unfortunately people were late and we started nearer to 3:00 rather than 2:00. We also returned nearer to 5:15 rather than 6:00. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience!

Great tour! Our guide, Kolo is a Hanalei native who helped us learn about the area, the wildlife, share some great stories and play some music!The kayak is gentle, even when out in the bay it was pretty chill. The tide was low, so the snorkeling had to be careful around the coral, but we saw lots of cool fish, an octopus as well as a couple of turtles.Great experience overall!

We had such a great time on our kayak tour with Kolo and Gabe. They were awesome hosts and so fun and knowledgeable. Big thanks to those guys for getting some awesome pics for us and airdropping them before we left. We saw at least 3 sea turtles and so many fish! Highly recommend doing this experience. What a farm should be....
This is the epitome of a farm. Huge gorgeous property where animals have everything they need in a natural habitat! Someone commented on our tour that it didn't even smell like a farm! So true. We were able to pet and hold baby goats. Never have I experienced anything like this. Animals were pictures of health and feeding stations and water were crazy clean. Beautiful stewards of creatures and land. These animals are very fortunate to call this their home!

Did 4 dives with Five Fathom in June and had a stellar experience.My refresher shore dives with Jeannette at Koloa Landing were great. She's very experienced, knowledgable and put my mind at ease on shore and in the water. Felt incredibly safe diving with her and excited to explore the underwater wonderland of Kauai.My two boat dives with Julie were enjoyable as well. The water was a bit choppy on the surface after a couple days of wind and rain and she did a great job of explaining what to expect, keeping the group together underwater and ensuring everyone was safe, enjoying themselves and seeing lots of cool things. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she has an amazing eye for spotting sea life - from a massive octopus, to turtles, harlequin shrimp, moray eels, domino damselfish and more.Thank you for an amazing and unforgettable experience Jeannette & Julie!
