What To Expect
Explore Kauai’s most iconic waterway at your own pace with a self-guided kayak adventure on the Wailua River, leading to the famous Secret Falls.
Our shop is the closest rental location to the Wailua River—just a 2-minute drive from the launch point—so you spend less time in transit and more time on the water. We’ll help you load your kayak, walk you through a quick orientation, and provide tips to ensure you feel confident before heading out.
From there, it’s your adventure. Paddle the calm, scenic river, then hike through lush jungle to reach the stunning Secret Falls. Most guests spend 4–5 hours completing the full experience.
We are a fully licensed and permitted operator on the Wailua River. As a locally owned Kauai business with years of experience, we prioritize safety, compliance, and a smooth, hassle-free rental process.

• Age requirement: 12–70 (for safety considerations)
• Transportation required: You will transport the kayak on your vehicle (setup is quick and we assist; compatible with most cars, including convertibles)
• State park fee: Non-residents must pay a small entrance fee at Wailua River State Park
