I can highly recommend a flight like that. It is an absolutely unique experience—especially on Kauai. The scenery is stunning; there is no other way to experience it quite like this. The price is high, admittedly, but we flew for a full hour, so it is definitely justified. You really have the flight all to yourself or your loved ones—no other passengers. That was one of the reasons I chose to fly with this company. Everyone had a window seat, and no one had to squeeze into a middle seat. The pilot was really nice and kept explaining where we were and what was special about the place. The booking process was super easy and very friendly. Flying without doors is absolutely amazing. It’s really windy, but I loved the feeling of sensing everything, and the photos turn out much better than they do from behind glass. My family and I won't soon forget this experience. It was unique!

Excellent tour - our pilot was Lance who was a fantastic pilot and tour guide. Lance highlighted all the history and environment of big island of Hawaii. We really enjoyed it and would thoroughly recommend anyone thinking about a helicopter tour or a tour to consider Mauna Loa helicopters as a great way to explore the big island and see all the sites and sounds in an efficient manner with a great company and great tour guide.

My wife and I aren’t much for shopping or swimming, but put us on an FUV and we’re having a blast instantly!! The FUV is simple to operate and the instructor does a good job making sure you understand. After a quick couple laps we were off to see the beautiful island. Following the guide is basic and the stops breathtaking. Although we didn’t stop to shop at any of the cool local stores or swim the beautiful beaches, my wife and I had the best time…. In fact I’d say it was the most fun of all of the activities we’ve done on the island!

Planning a 7 days Girls trip to Kauai - Daughter, Mother with limited mobility and Me became very easy after I got connected with Cocco from Kaua’i Soul Travel. The moment I connected with Cocco, the tour operator, she hashed out and made it easy for me to plan each day. We booked our first day with Kaua’i Soul Travel. The day before the tour, a detailed itinerary was texted including the lunch and coffee stops. Shasta was our tour guide and she warmly welcomed us with her lovely smile and we had a fantastic start!Shasta is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide. She flawlessly offers the tourists of all ages unforgettable experiences. She shares her incredible knowledge of the places, the culture and local traditions. Her enthusiasm and energy, her empathy and care for the people around make her the ideal guide for those who choose a sightseeing tour in Kauai.Shasta is a good photographer too, an add on feature on tours as she knows where and how to click photos. The scenery was beautiful and the nature around us was breathtaking. The atmosphere was so special and fun that it really felt like a family tour. Shasta also provided us with information how to spend other days and Kaua’i famous dine in restaurants.We covered so much on our first day that we booked our final day with Kauai Soul travels. They went out of their way to accommodate us in their busy schedule. Awesome non touristy adventure!
We had a great time with Da Hawaiian Dundee. Despite the rainy weather, we were able to repel down a mountainside and hike to a waterfall. We got eaten alive by mosquitoes even though we tried two different bug sprays so we opted to wipe mud all over us which did hold the mosquitoes at bay and gave us great memories. This is a one of a kind, true Hawaiian adventure. We highly recommend for those looking for something non touristy.

Very enjoyable day stopping to see or quickly explore various locations on North and east side of Kauai. Orlando met us right inside the harbor (we arrived in Pride of America) and we were quickly on our way in a very comfortable car. He drove very responsibly and provided lots of information about each location and highlights as we drove. They even modified the schedule when we wanted to walk out to the lighthouse at the Kilauea Lighthouse Wildlife Refuge as opposed to just stopping at overlook. When we stopped, Orlando typically gave an overview of the area and snapped a picture of us. Very pleasant tour!

I honestly don’t know if there are words to describe how incredible this doors off helicopter tour was. Even the pictures and videos don’t come close to capturing what it feels like to actually be up there experiencing it.It was absolutely breathtaking, exciting, beautiful, and so much fun. Seeing Kauaʻi from the air with the doors off was unlike anything I have ever experienced. It was easily one of the biggest highlights of our entire trip to Hawaii, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to do it.Our pilot was a wonderful young woman, and I wish I could remember her name because she deserves to be recognized. She did an exceptional job making us feel safe and comfortable from beginning to end. I never felt uneasy, which allowed me to relax and take in just how spectacular everything was.I also cannot say enough good things about the company. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy. Check in was simple, the staff was wonderful, everything was well organized, and the entire experience went so smoothly.This tour was worth every penny. If you are looking at it and thinking about booking but you’re on the fence, DO IT. You will not regret it! The pictures simply cannot do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself.I would do this again in a heartbeat. It was an experience of a lifetime and a memory from Hawaii that I will treasure forever. 🚁

Amazing experience!
Staff were friendly and inviting.The tour was spectacular. A great combination of exhilaration of flying in a helicopter with the doors off, scenery that must be seen to be believed, learning about history and geological formations. The lush green landscape carved by rivers and waterfalls contrasted with the blue of the ocean and the brown of the Waimea canyon left me in awe. The initial lift off the ground was such a rush.
