My husband and I saw so many tour groups in trolleys and busses going through this island. We did our own driving tour and took our time…so much better! The history was very interesting. It was nice to be able to replay things we might have missed hearing. Don’t you hate when your guides sound muffled on busses? Not this time! It was so clear and informative. Absolutely recommend. If you download this before your visit, you can plan your days around the tour. Stop at places you find interesting or skip the things that sound “meh”.

We had a great time kayaking! The whole setup and rental process was really easy. Mario, who rented us our gear, was extremely helpful and kind. He was easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and gave us some great tips before we started, especially since I had never kayaked before.Mario even gave us a map showing the recommended route to the islands, which was really helpful. I would highly recommend following the route they give you. There are a lot of rocks between the shoreline and the islands, which is why they recommend staying close to the shoreline for most of the way before heading out toward the islands.We parked at the nearest beach, and the walk from there to the kayak launch point really wasn’t too bad, even with the gear.It took us about 1.5 hours to kayak out because we were going against the current and wind, but the paddle back only took about an hour. I would recommend having at least a moderate level of fitness for this activity, especially if it’s windy that day.We were lucky enough to see manta rays along the way, which was awesome! The monk seals were sunbathing when we arrived, so we weren’t able to do the trail, but it was still well worth the trip.Definitely wear LOTS of sunscreen! You’re exposed to the sun for quite a while, and it’s easy to underestimate how much sun you’re getting while you’re out on the water.Overall, we had a really fun experience and I would definitely recommend it!

Great snorkeling.
A better snorkel experience than I expected having spent last summer on the Belize reef. Saw many schools of fish and several turtles. Had a solid hour in the water and a nice ride to and from Shark Cove (about 45 minutes each way). I recognized the sandwiches they served from foodland- they weren’t bad but I wouldn’t expect “lunch” more of a “snack,” but appreciated post-snorkel. One tip: 9:00 am snorkel tour is actually 8:30. We arrived at 8:40 and everyone was on board and waiting for us to leave. Should call it the 8:30 tour.

The communication was excellent of where we were to meet Our driver and host, Eric was prompt and greeted us with a big smile. He pointed out important places along the way. We liked he played a recording of the history leading up to the day we were attacked. The time we spent visiting Pearl Harbor was perfect! We saw everything at a relaxing pace. Eric was again prompt at picking us up and we drove by other interesting landmarks like the capitol and former palace. He also pointed fun facts like where “The Rock” went to high school. The traffic was congested, but Eric maneuvered it calmly and carefully. So happy we chose this tour.

We are in our late 70s and had never been to Kualoa Ranch. As a birthday gift to a friend we booked the Farm tour for 3 people. It’s a trolley ride (modified bus) so it’s great for any age. We just loved our guide/driver Ann Marie. She was not only a good driver but she really cares about the ranch and made the tour fun and interesting. I have new respect for the owners of the ranch.
