Great way to see Waimea Canyon in Kauai

My family and I had a wonderful day out in Kauai with our tour driver/guide Elizabeth. We were picked up on time. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Elizabeth was a very knowledgeable and personable. She new the detailed history of the sites we were visiting, knew all the key photo op spots to stop at, knew the places to eat and to shop. It was a very enjoyable day and I would certainly book with her again and recommend her to anyone who asked me what to do in Kauai.

A day we will treasure

Elizabeth was exceptional and the Island Tour was the perfect way to start our trip. She was knowledgeable and brought so much heart and storytelling to the experience, helping us connect deeply with the rich history of Kauai. I loved hearing about the island’s gods and goddesses, while my husband and kids enjoyed learning about the nature, birds, flora, and fauna—and how everything is so beautifully interconnected. She was also incredibly flexible, adjusting parts of the tour to match our interests and making the whole day feel personalised and effortless. She was so patient with my tired teenager, which we really appreciated! The homemade banana bread was amazing and a real treat. She also took fantastic photos of us, which we’re so grateful for—we finally have great pictures together from our trip! We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a memorable and meaningful private island tour.

Professional and Tailored Private Tour

Elizabeth was the perfect tour guide for our family. Her SUV was immaculately clean and spacious. She tailored her tour for my mom’s limited mobility, so we were all able to enjoy the sights. Elizabeth knew SO MUCH about the island’s history and geography, the whole family was engaged throughout the 5 hour tour. I am so glad I found her on Cool Hawaii, I’d recommend her to anyone.

Outstanding knowledge from our guide

A bitter sweet experience with the sadness of war and the loss of life and to know that so many souls perished on that fateful day and that they rest beneath the memorial was really very sad .The memorial is laid out in a very dignified way.The tour started from the time we were picked up with a detailed and enlightening look back through history to the time when the pearl harbour attack started .When we arrived we visited a short movie theatre and then a briefing pre boarding the craft to the memorial.We then went through the submarines from WW2 with fascinating insights on the changing faces of the navy and how the war of the pacific was won and also modern day navy fleets and capabilities.Lui our guide shared his expert knowledge in a kind and caring way with great humility (from a veteran of service with the navy) . It really was a pleasure and the best way to understand what you are seeing .The tour then went on after lunch but sadly we had to leave at lunch time as I had double booked the day !

A Must-Do Tour in Kauai!

We only had a short time in Kauai, and this tour was exactly what we wanted to see. Elizabeth was so kind and friendly. She picked us up and got us to the canyon first because there was a chance for rain that day. It ended up being a beautiful day, and Elizabeth made sure we got to see it all! We stopped for lunch at The Lodge and it was the perfect authentic lunch we had been wanting. She even surprised our son with a birthday cake since she knew we were celebrating with this trip! We felt so thankful to have selected this tour with Elizabeth because she knows so much of the history of Kauai and the Waimea Canyon. Highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Kauai!

There were 8 of us on a family trip to hawaii and we had the most amazing day with Morgan as our driver/tour guide. He was so fun, knowledgeable about the island, and the best photographer. We saw so many amazing sights and he was fully prepared with all of the things we needed for our beach time. The van was so comfy and the day flew by (in the best way) ! Highlight of our trip in Hawaii. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see all the cool things Hilo has to offer.

Awesome Guide & Tour

We booked the Pearl Harbor tour and our guide was Luis. He was awesome!!!! Very knowledgeable on history and a Navy veteran. Due to maintenance on the USS Arizona Memorial, we weren't sure we'd be able to get a boat that day but Luis was determined to try. We'd highly suggest taking this tour with Luis & Kaewe Adventures.

Girls Night at the Volcano

For our annual girl’s vacation we decide we want to come the Big Island. We were so lucky to find out the Volcano is erupting.! Wayfind Tour Company was so helpful in arranging the details! There is no way we would have wanted to make this drive ourselves at night!! We felt so safe and taken care of! What an amazing spectacle! Totally worth it! So much more fun with a knowledgeable guide to answer all our questions- even the sillier ones! The Big Island is our favorite vacation spot so far. Now we want to take Round the Island tour! Several of us are planning to bring our families.

Awesome experience!

Booking our tour was quick and we were given great information on what to wear and bring. Jim, our guide, incredibly knowledgeable and gracious. He seemed to have a great depth of understanding of the geology and history everywhere we went. The absolute best part was the amazing view of the lava fountaining from the volcano! Best tour and transport on the Big Island - Ideal for families with kids

Adam did an incredible job being our tour guide on the big island for our family. From accommodating us with our 4 year old and having a booster seat ready to not have to bring one with us, to showing us some of the most beautiful spots on the island. Adam made sure to share the best places to eat authentic Hawaiian food (best poke bowls), and arranged for our true authentic luau for the ultimate Hawaiian experience. From airport transfers to any other tour you need ….book him he will not disappoint! Highly highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back and will be booking with Hawaii Island Time again.
