This was a highly anticipated experience during our travel. We were not disappointed. The experience was fun for my party of 6. You don’t go miles and miles off shore, and we didn’t experience any large fish, but still had a great time.

It was s great experience! We caught a 200 pound Marlin!

This was the most exciting and crazy thing I’ve ever done in my life! The crew was absolutely amazing. It was beautiful to see the relationship between the biologist and the sharks. It looked like he was playing with little dogs — so naturally and effortlessly! I was definitely afraid because we saw so many sharks, including three tiger sharks. It was an incredible experience and a real challenge for me. But at the same time, we felt completely safe and confident because of the crew. They are so professional, and you can truly see how much they love their work. It was beautiful to witness. I totally recommend this experience! We had a great time with kalani as our expert fishing guide. We landed a mahi-mahi. We were given beverages and snacks too. Both kalani and captain were excellent. Would definitely book them again. Highly recommend!

Fishing trip was amazing. Awesome views of the Waikiki Beach coastline and Diamondhead! Captain Joe and 1st Mate Andy kept us on the fish. Had a really fantastic time. Highly recommend this short, convenient trip while in Waikiki!

I took a full-day shared charter with Waikiki Sport Fishing on August 6th, 2026, and had an absolute blast from start to finish. There were 6 anglers total, and this ended up being one of the best fishing experiences I’ve ever had.Before we even left the dock, Captain and the crew did a great job making sure everyone was prepared and understood everything we needed to know. They were extremely informative throughout the day and kept us updated on what was happening and what to expect.About two hours into the trip, we came across a pod of pilot whales — an incredible bonus and something I certainly wasn’t expecting to see while out fishing.Since this was a shared charter, we each had to pick a card to determine our rod number. About three hours into the trip, one of the rods went off — and it was a 100+ lb Yellowfin Tuna! This was by far the biggest fish I’ve ever fought, and it was an absolute beast. It took a tremendous amount of work, time, and teamwork to get it to the boat. Multiple people got the opportunity to take turns reeling it in, which made the experience even more memorable for everyone.Once we finally got the tuna aboard, the crew immediately took care of it — bonked and bled it, cleaned portions of it, and kept the fish fresh on a bed of ice in the fish hold while we continued trolling. The crew really knew what they were doing and took great care of the catch.Then, during the last hour of the trip, we got a couple more exciting hits. One rod went off, and within about 30 seconds another rod got hit. The captain and folks on the upper deck spotted that it was a Blue Marlin. Unfortunately, it spit the hook before we could get it engaged. Having a Marlin on the boat too would have been the perfect ending, but honestly, after landing that huge tuna, I wasn’t complaining!One thing that really stood out to me was that we were the only boat I saw that had fish that entire morning/afternoon, and we came back with a massive Yellowfin Tuna. Owner Nick is a very reasonable guy, and it’s clear that he has put together a great crew that knows these waters extremely well.I also really appreciate that Waikiki Sport Fishing offers anglers the opportunity to take home a significant portion of their catch (depending on the size of the fish), which is something not every charter offers. They also offer cleaning, filleting, and vacuum-packing services for an additional fee, which is incredibly convenient if you want to bring your catch home and enjoy it later.If you’re visiting Honolulu and enjoy fishing, don’t miss the opportunity to get out on the water with Waikiki Sport Fishing. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for an unforgettable Hawaiian adventure, this is absolutely worth doing.Huge thanks to Nick and the entire crew for an incredible day. This was a very humbling experience, the guides were wonderful and made us feel very comfortable in the water, we saw a Tiger shark and Galapagos sharks it was something we will always cherish thank you to the crew of the Deep Blue for making this memory one of the best highlights of our trip

We had a great experience on the fishing tour! Communication was smooth from the beginning, and the crew was very welcoming. Check-in was easy, and the boat never felt crowded. Each group had plenty of space to fish comfortably, which made the experience relaxed and enjoyable.The crew gave helpful instructions and provided plenty of personal attention throughout the trip. As a beginner, I was especially grateful for their guidance—and I got lucky with three fish! We took pictures and released all three right afterward. Most of the other groups also caught multiple fish, so there was plenty of action throughout the trip.There was also an option to keep eligible fish. If participants chose to keep their catch, the crew would process it, wrap it, and keep it chilled for them to claim at the end of the tour. It was nice to have the choice depending on what each group preferred.A couple of helpful tips for future guests: make sure adults purchase their fishing license in advance. The requirement and the link are provided on the tour booking page, so it’s easy to take care of ahead of time.The water was quite smooth during our trip, although several passengers still experienced motion sickness. The crew had ginger candies available, which was a thoughtful touch and seemed to help.Overall, a fun, well-organized trip with a great crew. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for beginners!

Fantastic experience! Well run and organized. Knowledgeable crew with excellent dive sites! Able to see Dragon eel, white mouth moray, green sea turtle, colorful mollusks and many fish!!! Well worth it! Special shout outs to Adam, our captain, Nacho, our dive guide and Pat, our photographer!! They really made for an excellent and memorable experience! Would go again anytime! Nico & JP were great! Both very well spoken & explained everything in detail about the entire trip. My wife and I felt very comfortable & safe the entire time.The boat was great! AC inside, fridge, tv, music, etc. If you want to fish - this is the way to do it!

Capt Dustin and Deckhand JP were amazing! I took my 3 sons and we had such a great time. The boat in excellent condition. The fishing gear too if the line. We hunted fish all day and Capt Dustin and JP got us hooked up to a Striped Marlin. After 20 min battle and professionally assisting my son, he landed his first big game fish. 150 pound Marlin. We were so stoked! JP filleted the Marlin we took enough to make ceviche. Donated the rest.Again, I highly recommend booking with Limitless and Capt Dustin and JP.We will definitely book again next year!

My family and I had a great time! Captain Dante was so kind and helpful with the kids and made sure we got pictures. Everyone caught fish! Great time!

Our 4 hour excursion was EPIC! We had 5 bites and caught 3 yellow fin and 1 skip jack! At one time we had 4 lines lit up!! Captain Jamie and Josiah were so much fun and joined in our celebration! We cooked the tuna for dinner and it was delicious! Memory last a lifetime!

Had a great time with Chris and Rob! 200lb blue marlin was just the experience my daughter was looking for. These guys did a great job and would book again.
