He’s knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and brings such positive energy to every class. He makes yoga feel both challenging and fun, and I always leave class feeling happier, stronger, and more relaxed.You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and loves what he does. Max was the epitome of “surf is life.” From start to finish, he was professional, patient, passionate, and genuinely invested in making the experience special. Most importantly, he was amazing with my 6-year-old daughter, Paisley. He knew exactly how to make her feel comfortable, encouraged her every step of the way, and turned her first surfing experience into something she’ll never forget. This ended up being one of the best memories of our daddy-daughter trip, and Max deserves a huge amount of credit for that. We came for a surf lesson and left with an experience we’ll talk about for years. P.S. — Do yourself a favor and add the drone video with his partner OG. The footage is absolutely incredible and captured moments we otherwise never would have had. Totally worth it! Thank you, Max and OG, for an unforgettable experience!

My daughter was drawn to Sunset Suzy’s because of her dogs. Her theory was that dog people are nice. Suzy and Jon were nice, supportive and encouraging. We all were surfing within minutes of starting. Suzy and Jon were conscientious of safety while ensuring that we were having fun surfing. They gave encouraging tips to help us improve our skills and gave us great memories. Thank you!

I was looking for an outdoor yoga experience that I could drop into as I’m just visiting Waikiki for a week. The class was better than I could ever imagine! The instructor was extremely gracious, and the view was stunning. The sunset was like something I had never seen before. Yoga was in the park under the trees, and you could hear the waves crashing with your breath. It was very easy to book the class and their instructional videos about getting directions to find it were great. I highly recommend!

I've been doing this for 10 years. I keep repeating it over and over again!Dr. Dennis was very friendly, It's totally fun to be alone. They will guide you according to your physical condition and level of the day, so you can rest assured, and they are good at Japanese and puns are mixed, so sometimes everyone. It's always fun because it overflows with smiles. Beach yoga is unstable in the sand. Even with a strap. You can get your posture right, And I'm great because my legs are stronger.And best of all, The beach in the morning is the best yoga you can do while listening to the sound of the calm, forlorn waves.The blue seas and blue skies of Hawaii and Every once in a while, I can see a rainbow and refresh my mind and body.I'm with it. Indoor yoga was also very good.♡Unlike the beach, in the studio. I was working out my core using balls and straps.I really recommend this yoga lesson!

The class was great! Tried out a class with ClassPass and it was definitely worth it. It’s not what you would expect from a conventional yoga class. You do most movements sitting on a ball so you get to practice balance and strengthen your core while stretching and moving into different poses, there’s also straps (securely attached to the walls) and bars that give you extra stability.

I tried a breathwork and ice bath session during my trip to Hawaii, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my vacation. The experience took place at Kapiolani Beach Park, which offered an incredible backdrop — sitting in an ice bath while looking out at the ocean felt surreal and calming.Our instructor, Valeria, guided the session with confidence and knowledge. She explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions, which helped me feel prepared and relaxed. We started with about 25 minutes of breathwork, and it made a huge difference once it was time to get into the ice.The ice bath itself lasted 3 minutes. It was intense, but the breathwork and the ocean view helped me stay fully present, turning it into a powerful and meaningful moment. The supportive energy of the group made the experience feel warm and welcoming, despite the cold.I left the session feeling rejuvenated, energized, and excited. Overall, I loved the experience and would absolutely come back again.

Island Flow Yoga was absolutely my best discovery on my recent visit to Kailua. First off, it’s literally: 1. YOGA 2. On a BEACH 3. At SUNRISE Those 3 things right there make it an amazing experience. But that said, Maria was my instructor and she was fantastic at providing the perfect blend of calm and peace with an early morning yoga flow. Not too fast, not too slow, just truly a beautiful way to start the day. Each day was different, from the weather and individuals on the beach, to the pacing and practice focus, but it was always extraordinary. Just as an example, on one morning we had the beach to ourselves and it was dark and blustery, then pouring rain, then dry and sunny with a full rainbow and a Disney explosion of birds bursting from under the rainbow. And all of that with Maria’s soothing voice and beautiful yoga practice, the sky exploding with color and the waves on the beach. Just magical! Do yourselves a favor and try Island Flow Yoga if you are in the area - and don’t worry about the weather, it’s all worth it! Namaste!
