The Makana Charter Company is a class act - highly recommend. We took this half-day boat tour + snorkelling with our group of six, including four people ages 16 to 24. We felt welcomed and very taken care of by the friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew. It was a splurge cost-wise for us, but totally worth it. A highlight of our exceptional first visit to Kauai!

We have gone on this tour twice - once in 2025 and once in 2026. Both times with had very knowledgeable local guides. They were able to give lots of history and personal insights to Kauai. Both were great drivers and went out of their way to make the day enjoyable. Both years we had to switch the day of our tour due to rescheduling of other activities. The company was very easy to work with to make the changes. Very worth the money to have this experience on Kauai.

This trip was great to see beautiful Pacific Canyon and Kauai island coming from Oahu. Sabrina was a great guide. She helped me to enjoy and participate in all activities during the trip and helped me to manage and recover from a knee injury that happened the day before the trip. Zane is a Wonderful Photographer! So Courteous & Accommodating. Originally booked this for our granddaughter's 13th birthday. Due to her size, she was not able to wear the provided dresses.
