We had the most magical morning on the tour. It was everything I had hoped it would be. Unbelievably stunning, we saw dolphins and turtles. Jay and Jane were absolutely superb, so friendly, so knowledgable - we couldn’t have asked for better! We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The entire trip was beautiful from beginning to end. The crew was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the cruise. The scenery along the Nā Pali Coast was breathtaking, and being able to enjoy it from the catamaran made it even more special. It was a relaxing, fun, and unforgettable afternoon with our family. One of the highlights of our trip to Kauai. We would absolutely recommend this experience!

A fun and cultural experience
I highly recommend the kayak/snorkel trip. Our guide, Kolo, was wonderful and easily handled the 6 people on our trip, including one couple who were first-time paddlers. After the paddle downriver, we had fun snorkeling. We were there after rainstorms, so the water was not as clear as it could have been. But we saw a very large honu (green sea turtle) and several varieties of fish. Kolo played ukulele and talked story as we enjoyed our snacks. He spoke about Kauai's history and culture. He inspired me to learn more, and I've been taking 'ōlelo Hawai'i on Duolingo to improve my understanding and pronunciation of the language. Mahalo, Kayak Hanalei.

What an amazing experience! The boat is spacious and not crowded as the regular zodiac rafts. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They were also very nice to offer us an earlier tour since our original one had to be canceled because of hurricane Lowell. I highly recommend this tour. You get to see the beautiful Na Pali coast and snorkel in the Pacific Ocean!

The Makana Charter Company is a class act - highly recommend. We took this half-day boat tour + snorkelling with our group of six, including four people ages 16 to 24. We felt welcomed and very taken care of by the friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew. It was a splurge cost-wise for us, but totally worth it. A highlight of our exceptional first visit to Kauai!

The coast is BEAUTIFUL. The staff was exceptional. The food and drinks were yummy. FYI make sure you have transportation figured out! We tried to get an UBER for an hour before we finally got someone to pick us up. No taxis and the little town closes down after dark. 😩

Probably the best day here on Kauai. We had originally booked the snorkel tour but due to the hurricane they cancelled that. When I called, they were so accommodating and suggested the sunset cruise the same day. Honestly so much fun, crew was amazing, food delicious and I can’t say enough! And the playlist made by the captain himself was perfect. Thank u for being the highlight of our vacation. Would highly recommend. Thank u guys!

Our Nā Pali Coast sunset dinner cruise was absolutely incredible. The scenery is breathtaking and truly something you have to experience in person. Pictures simply cannot capture how beautiful the Nā Pali Coast is from the water.What made the experience even more special was the amazing crew. Captain Glenn, Noah, and Selma made us feel like family from the moment we were on board. They were constantly checking on us, keeping our drinks filled, preparing and setting out the food, and making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Their hospitality was outstanding.And the food was delicious! Between the incredible scenery, great food and drinks, and such a wonderful crew, it was a fantastic way to experience the Nā Pali Coast.We were visiting Kauaʻi from a cruise ship and had to figure out transportation to and from the dinner cruise. If you’re in the same situation and having trouble arranging transportation, I recommend trying Dianne’s Taxi. She was very friendly, stayed in communication with us, and coordinated our pickup and drop off, which made things much easier.The Nā Pali Coast is spectacular on its own, but Captain Glenn, Noah, and Selma made the experience even more memorable. We felt genuinely taken care of, had a wonderful time, and left with memories we will treasure forever. I would absolutely recommend this sunset dinner cruise!

The tour was fantastic. The Na Pali Coast is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. Our Captain & crew took fantastic care of us. The Capt. was very informative about the local history, and Hawaiin legends. Very interesting. We got to see dolphins three different times thoughout the tour. The snorkeling was great. The food was so good that I over ate. Yum! It was a wonderful tour.

Our guides were Eden and bubblelicous they were awesome. Great job explaining everything that we're going to do and made sure everyone was safe but made sure it was a lot of fun. Most definitely would do this again. It was totally righteous.
