The Makana Charter Company is a class act - highly recommend. We took this half-day boat tour + snorkelling with our group of six, including four people ages 16 to 24. We felt welcomed and very taken care of by the friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew. It was a splurge cost-wise for us, but totally worth it. A highlight of our exceptional first visit to Kauai!

Breathtaking and so much fun
Probably the best day here on Kauai. We had originally booked the snorkel tour but due to the hurricane they cancelled that. When I called, they were so accommodating and suggested the sunset cruise the same day. Honestly so much fun, crew was amazing, food delicious and I can’t say enough! And the playlist made by the captain himself was perfect. Thank u for being the highlight of our vacation. Would highly recommend. Thank u guys!

The tour was amazing. They took us to some spectacular viewing sites. We even got to view seals and sea turtles up close! Very knowledgeable on local culture and very accomodating. Safe driver and knows all the tricks to the sites. Highly recommend touring with Jia and Herb with MTH!!!

We have gone on this tour twice - once in 2025 and once in 2026. Both times with had very knowledgeable local guides. They were able to give lots of history and personal insights to Kauai. Both were great drivers and went out of their way to make the day enjoyable. Both years we had to switch the day of our tour due to rescheduling of other activities. The company was very easy to work with to make the changes. Very worth the money to have this experience on Kauai.

Crew was amazing, food was tasty. We saw dolphins and beautiful cliffsides. It is a very long tour and even I was a little seasick from being bounced around for 4 hours by the end.

Had a lot of fun. I really like that it just wasn't one activity, but three with a couple of refreshing swimming holes in the middle. Eli and the other guides were the best. We learned about history, flora and fauna, and other cool facts between kayaking, ziplining, hiking, and chilling in a few swimming holes. Really enjoyed the hikes through some beautiful areas. Loved every part of it - fun, peaceful, exhilarating, educational.

This was a great tour, would highly recommend. I liked that you do a variety of different things. You start off kayaking. From there you hike to the first swimming hole. You spend some time there then hike to the pick up spot where you ride in a safari type, open air truck into Kipu ranch (where Jurassic Park was filmed) to where you eat lunch. From there you hike to the first zipline. The first zipline is the shorter of the 2 that you do. You then hike to the second zipline. This one is longer and provides incredible views! You then hike to the second swimming hole. Once everyone is done swimming, you hike back to where you left the kayaks and are picked up by a boat for a ride back to the starting point. It was a busy, fun day!! Our guides were great too!

Planning a 7 days Girls trip to Kauai - Daughter, Mother with limited mobility and Me became very easy after I got connected with Cocco from Kaua’i Soul Travel. The moment I connected with Cocco, the tour operator, she hashed out and made it easy for me to plan each day. We booked our first day with Kaua’i Soul Travel. The day before the tour, a detailed itinerary was texted including the lunch and coffee stops. Shasta was our tour guide and she warmly welcomed us with her lovely smile and we had a fantastic start!Shasta is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide. She flawlessly offers the tourists of all ages unforgettable experiences. She shares her incredible knowledge of the places, the culture and local traditions. Her enthusiasm and energy, her empathy and care for the people around make her the ideal guide for those who choose a sightseeing tour in Kauai.Shasta is a good photographer too, an add on feature on tours as she knows where and how to click photos. The scenery was beautiful and the nature around us was breathtaking. The atmosphere was so special and fun that it really felt like a family tour. Shasta also provided us with information how to spend other days and Kaua’i famous dine in restaurants.We covered so much on our first day that we booked our final day with Kauai Soul travels. They went out of their way to accommodate us in their busy schedule. (Always appreciated)We spend two great days, a memorable Kaua’i Girls trip only due to Kauai Soul Travels.Many thanks again ❤️ and I highly recommend Kauai Soul Tours to everyone visiting Kauai.
