Great first time surfing experience
This was me and my girlfriends first time surfing, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The instructors were so patient and truly just wanted you to do your best. They started with an intro to how to get up and made sure you were comfortable before heading out. They provided you with water shirts and reef shoes which was definitely needed. You put all your stuff in a tub and kept it secure. They got great pictures and videos of us and were so glad we bought the picture package before arriving because it was a lot cheaper!

As a solo traveler trying surfing for the very first time, my private lesson with Marco and the Ohana Surf Project was an experience I’ll never forget. Marco took care of me every step of the way. He was incredibly patient, kind, supportive, and encouraging, especially when I was one of the last people to finally stand up on the board. Not once did I feel discouraged. The entire team and even the other participants cheered me on and celebrated my success like it was their own. To top it all off, they captured the experience with amazing photos and videos that I’ll treasure forever. If you’re thinking about learning to surf in Waikiki, this is the team you want by your side!

Amazing experience
Our lesson with Mark at Ohana Surf Project was a highlight of our vacation. My daughter was nervous, and he had her riding the waves in no time. His skill and patience was amazing, and we saw the same dedication and positive attitude from everyone we met at Ohana Surf Project. The photos and videos that they took were an outstanding souvenir from our trip. I highly recommend this company for anyone wanting to try something new and have an amazing experience in Honolulu.

Peter was an awesome instructor and made the entire experience incredibly enjoyable. His expertise was the perfect balance of not overwhelming you with too much information, while still giving exactly the right tips and guidance to improve quickly.He helped me understand how to properly stand, balance, and position myself on the board, and thanks to his coaching I was able to catch a few successful waves. The lesson felt encouraging, relaxed, and fun the entire time. You can't beat the beautiful location too!Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn or improve their surfing while actually enjoying the experience! :)

I had a total of 4 surf lessons with different surf coaches. The surf lessons take place away from the usual Waikiki surf hustle and bustle. This means fewer people in the water, more room for surfing, a greater sense of security. The whole team is great. I had so much fun. I'll remember your shouts of "up, up, stand up" for the rest of my life, and that celebrates every single successful attempt: "you did it." THANK YOU for this great experience, by the way ... I am 61 years old :)

This was amazing. The instructors are so patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Me and my sons had an amazing time. The photo package is also super reasonable compared to many other businesses. We had a wonderful and memorable time. We went at noon on a Monday and the area they took us wasn’t crowded at all.I’m not in the best shape of my life and did get tired at points. For sure load up on water, some stretching and a solid meal before going.
