Desmond and Anthony were the best guides. You can really tell they love all there is about the island and history and are so happy to share it with others.

With a tropical storm, predicted to turn in to a hurricane headed to the big island, our tour guide had to pivot. Ellen provided an informative and fun tour making sure we went away with good memories and lots of information.

Troy was awesome. So much fun even with the hurricane approaching. So accommodating and flexible. Learned a lot about the big island.

Desmond and Anthony were fantastic hosts and guides. They have an absolute love for Hilo and Hawai’i and it shows through every stop. Also, the lunch offered is delicious.

It’s hard to describe how good of a guide “auntie Karen” is. She is knowledgeable, passionate about Hilo a great story teller. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

It was fantastic, guides are local and very knowledgeable they shared life experiences and personal recommendations as well as made extra stops just for us.

I cannot recommend this meditation garden tour enough! From the moment I met JaNeal, I felt all my stress melt away. She is very knowledgeable about the garden, its history, and the surrounding area. The garden has perfect spots for quiet reflection and meditation. I felt that the experience was transformative. If you are looking for a relaxing, nourishing, and spiritually uplifting experience, this is it!

Troy was just lovely! Weather wasn’t great since hurricane is coming but Troy made up for it and we still got to do and see a lot! Highly recommend

Our tour was provided by Shaka Braddah tours and Desmond and team was fantastic.  They were both so knowledgeable and funny – we felt like friends by the end of our tour. They also provided snacks and local delicacies throughout the day. We started the day with a slow drive pass Lili’uokalani Park and Gardens, before stopping at Rainbow Falls which were beautiful. We then proceeded to a black sand beach (we were due to visit Punalu’u Black Stand Beach, but that was inaccessible due to Hurricane Lala which had hit the island 2 weeks previously). However, this beach we went to did not disappoint and we saw a couple of green turtles chilling on the rocks! After a lovely lunch at a local restaurant, we then went to the Volcanoes National Park which was spectacular. Even though we did not see an eruption (it had erupted the week prior), it was certainly smoking a LOT and the views were fantastic. This was followed by a walk through Thurston Lava Tube which was completely different to anything we had experienced before. All in all a fantastic trip and would highly recommend it – FIVE STARS!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can I give more stars? Desmond and Anthony were amazing. Saw and learned so much! Tour was well planned and free flowing enough to allow for exploring. They even gave us ideas of other spots to visit on other days of our trip.

Fantastic tour, beautiful scenery and Volcano National park was amazing, highly recommend this tour.

My girlfriend and I just made it to the volcano on July 15th, our last picture was at 4:15 pm, the volcano stopped erupting at 4;45 pm. What a site it was. Anyone who can make there to see it, it's totally worth your effort.

Robert is awesome! So incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and energetic. We had a hurricane coming so we were not able to do everything, but he made sure we saw lava and tried to hit as many places as possible. It was a very good day. -Courtney and Austin
